Corner like a trash truck on mountain roads; way less grip on moist mountain roads; supper slippery in ice. They only lasted 20k and looked like they were good but had 0 traction when they were...

The maintenance schedule is 10,000-50,000 miles. You rebuild them not replace them and the cost is about $650 last I checked. That being said my gen2 had 119,000 and was a sloppy beoch when I gave her up.

Sometimes you get a free oil change or car wash but at the purchasing dealer not a thing offered from ford.

From what I understand it is an encrypted code and they need to break the encryption before they can modify the data on the pcm. Over the last 5 yrs companies have really stepped up the difficulty.

It’s good and we all want it BUT, it’s not available for 23 or 24 trucks unless you send in your computer for bench tuning. We are all patiently waiting for someone to unlock it.

i would say that with my new gen3, the paddle shifts are way faster than my gen 2. Not as fast as my PDK Porsche but way faster than gen 2. Gen 2 feels like a suggestion box gen 3 actually goes through the gears when chosen; different tuning.
