I say, move on. Most projects, especially wrecks, go way beyond estimates and budgets. Unforseen or hidden additional damage. Also, "I've gone this far, i might as well do this and that while it's apart". Where do you stop; where do you say enough is enough. $100 here, $100 there, it can...
I'm referring to the headers not being absolutely flat. The heads are a given that they are flat. Put a straight edge across the headers and see if their is any issue. Also, headers need to be constantly checked for bolt torque especially with the added pressure of the blower.
It's all very intermittent and does not malfuction very often, so at this point I'm not going to dive into it. But when I do, I will replace it with the same factory part. If it's the camera itself, then it shouldn't be a big deal replacing it in the tailgate.
2014, 48K miles.
The rear camera on occasion does not work. On one occasion recently the whole dash screen was black, but later the dash screen was fine again.
In ya'll's experience where is the issue usually located, the camera itself or elsewhere?
It's been going on for decades. Had a '70 Corvette in the '70s. Lots of drivers felt compelled to pass me. Then they'd return to my lane and slow down, so then i'd have to end up changing lanes and passing them to maintain my existing speed.
