So I stopped reading the thread on page 2 so I may have missed something, though I can offer this.
I have a 2022 Raptor. In the last year, we went from an Audi Q5 to a Lincoln Aviator to a Mach-E to a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S e-hybrid for my wife's daily driver. The Q5 was too small. The...
Actually not a bad idea.
I've been dealing with this for months with my truck - same issues. I've done the manual BMS reset by flashing the lights and hitting the brakes and watching the battery icon on the dash. Still nothing. The dealer that I have, super trusted and has gone above and beyond...
I keep the measurements on because what else am I gonna look at when I'm not staring at my phone? But really, there's nothing else that makes sense. Sometimes I flip between MPG and tire pressure, or TRIP 1 or something just to switch it up.
The dealer had my truck for over two weeks to try to figure out the BMS issue. They finally came to the conclusion that there's a "software issue making the truck believe it's low on charge, but it really isn't". Makes sense but also is BS. They master reset everything, did all the recalls...
Wow I must be lucky. I have a Ford/Lincoln dealer that does excellent work, comes out and listens to every single issue on my laundry list of things, fixes every one of them, and gives me a Lincoln to drive around anytime I bring either of my two Fords in.
I didn't even purchase there. I'm...
Are you getting a checksum error? You can bypass that (I think you have to anyway in order to write to the module) and it will just compute it by itself.
I know I had an issue writing something (it's been a long time since I've done these mods to mine) and I had to go back to AB, though through...
Can you say what you did and if you backed up everything or just APIM?
Might not hurt to go back to AB throughout the whole truck, and do Glare Free first. It's easily the most involved.
Or you could simply be the first that it doesn't work for. Who knows. It was slated to be removed from...
Not yet. I've charged to 100%, then reset BMS manually and it made zero difference. I drove it twice today and I still got an alert it was dead. It'll go in for service second week of Jan and I suspect it'll be there for a bit.
I have a thread about this as well, as my truck routinely yells at me in FordPass and through the center screen saying it's off to save battery, and remote features are disabled. I drive this thing daily and always charging at 14.5v no matter what. Took a two hour trip and it was dead the next...
We all think we have time, ya know? I mean, sure, most of us do but I've been surrounded by a lot of death in my short 41 years on this planet, and without getting stupid and in trouble with finances - I never wait for things any more until the "right time", as there never really is ever a right...
@greatone99 oh hey look at that! You best ask where the most amazing Sidney @Specialtyperformanceparts got that info. Wow, two people saying the same thing - who'd have thumk?!
My source is my highly intellectual brain and the ability to remember things. I read it here on the site somewhere and when I get some time I'll search it for you.
Ahh, I gotcha! So the fog dash light would not be illuminated, it would simply just be powered on. That would make sense since I don't have anything hooked into my fogs switch as of now. I'm just using AUX1/2/3/4/6. Perhaps I'll make the switch when/if I ever get around to applying that Lamin-X...
So basically, it's not really "Fogs with DRL", it's more like "Fogs with Parking Lights", since the fog button works with either ON or AUTO (if headlights are on). The fogs while turning would be neat if you had a set of lights on the outside angled out a bit for use as a turning light like back...
For some reason it doesn't seem to work for multiple people with a code that does work with non-Raptors. Always baffled me. If you ever have the time or inclination, we'd appreciate it! Definitely me!
Anyone got the part number for the one that was recently released for our trucks? My googler skills are lacking and I only see the one that needs to be modified to work.
