Well, the Mach was my 9th Mustang through the years, and my second Mach 1 model (first was '04). Latest model owned was a 2013 GT/CS. Had everything in-between '69-'22.
Compared to the Blackwing, you definitely feel the weight in corners, but I'm still new to the car. It's planted and...
Got to check out a '24 up close today and snap a pic of us head-on. I still prefer the styling of my '22, but I ain't complaining about the '24, either. They're both amazing.
Can I still do this if I purchased it pre-owned? I know that the Ford Schools, you must be the original purchasing owner and can't even buy your way in (at least with Raptor Assault). Cadillac has the same type of verbiage on their website, but don't explicitly state it, though they do say...
Sold my Mach 1 Mustang a bit ago and was on the hunt for a Blackwing CT5.
Brought a '23 home today for a stable mate to the Raptor!
My first GM vehicle.
You don't have to do it, but you absolutely should if you do any sort of driving at night. I'm taking a trip and electing not to take the truck and I'm already anxious about not having the GF lights (plus the rest of my AUX lighting) and I'm not even on the trip yet. It's that nice.
It's absolutely available as I have changed mine to 4, because the 3 is actually 2 if you ever watch it, so changing to 4 makes it 3. I'm on mobile, but it's absolutely there.
I'm not entirely clear on what you're pursuing.
DRL=Amber surrounds of the headlights. Enabling parking lights with DRL will turn on all the lights, except headlights and of course brake and reverse. Your headlights still will come on when it's dark enough out.
I think it's working as...
I'd personally absolutely love a PHEV Raptor. I say it damn near every single time I get out of my wifes Porsche Cayenne Turbo S e-hybrid. For the types of driving we do and will likely do, it's just the best middle-for us. Speaking for her car, we can slip outta the neighborhood and do all of...
I always run it in AUTO, yes. Sometimes though I have to crank it down to LO and turn it on manually to 7 for fan speed and even then it barely works. This is when it first starts, after I've been on the road, hours into a trip or minutes across town. It doesn't matter if it's 100 degrees out or...
My A/C barely cools the truck and Ford says it's normal to have it on LO with fan speed 7 and I'm sweating. No noise though. I'd give anything for decent A/C in this pig.
Once I changed my battery I have had no further issues. I'm not gonna take a battery tender with me in a new vehicle. That's stupid.
My Mustang is in storage and tells me two weeks on the dot each time that deep sleep mode is activated, and it's hooked up to a maintainer. It's a timer.
Oof, that'd be neat. We can switch from std to Unreal, so maybe some OTA update would give functionality, but wouldn't necessarily say so. Dunno, but that'd be cool.
Thanks for this picture. Gonna add it to the list of things to bring to my service guy when I go in for routine service.
This is wild, as I never had the exhaust rattle and then with the latest Ford PowerUp OTA update, I no longer start permanently in "quiet mode" and I can change (and hear...
I'm sure that could also be done, though probably just not as convenient as a giant plug. Yeah, just rip out a few fuses is likely better than an alarm system, but I don't worry about it. If I was to park someplace I didn't trust for a long long period of time, yeah I might rip out s fuse or two...
On the Gen1 trucks, I unclipped a wiring harness to get access to something in the passenger footwell and it absolutely made the truck dead. I couldn't figure it out until the following day and I recalled I unplugged it. Nothing worked.
Wonder if there's a quick/easy access harness to unplug...
Absolutely agreed! I've gotten tired of calling around everywhere getting the same answer. I'll just wait 'till there's a pre-owned unit and see what happens. We lucked into my wife's Porsche after two years and 12k miles with a $60k depreciation hit that someone else took. Hoping someone with...
Saw the change in your avatar! V6TT or V8? Can't tell. I'm always in the market and looking for the R, but seriously my Goose EcoBoost is perfectly fine. I just have sound envy from my wife's Porsche V8TT and that's the only reason - so not really justified.
So the new high beams ramp similar...
