It's not improvements in the oils that have led to longer OCIs- it's the massive improvement to the PCV systems compared to 30 years ago.
I still do it every 5K. Easy to remember. 30K, 35K, 40K etc.
Changing your oil more often won't prevent your defective crank from snapping in half though :)
LOL! No shit sherlock.
Just wait for your new ZR1 purchase and the utter disaapointment that will stem from working with GM dealers.
All cars break. All new cars have teething issues. If you think any make is immune, you are wrong. Plenty of $100K+ cars are recalled because they are...
You can get them all from the top, no problem. You don't have to go from the sides at all.
You won't be able to see them, but you can easily lay on the core support/engine and reach down to get both sides. Well I could at least- I'm 6'3".
I doubt Ford would even look at it. They don't have time to be pulling apart broken shit and seeing why it broke. It'd go back to the rebuilder as a core and that'd be that. Since he's not going to do that, we don't need to speculate anyways.
Maybe, if he is lucky, one of those problematic...
Yes, a good looking, properly sized, hubcentric positive offset wheel is nearly impossible to find.
People are FAR more interested in looks than performance. Ask anyone putting +0 offset wheels on their truck to explain scrub radius and how changing the wheel offset affects it- they'd look at...
Stock wheels are 8.5 and +34.
Looking at a 9" wheel vs. a 8.5" wheel, it's 1/4" wider each side.
Then you look at the offset. Stock is +34, those are +0. 34 mm = 1.33".
Assuming the same tire- the outer edge of the tire should be 1.6" further out, and it looks like it. You are going...
Little monsters ate through the insulation of some 50 year old Romex inside a wall of one of my houses.
Keep your truck in a garage that is sealed up really well and has mouse traps set.
I'm about to spend 10K on a new garage floor to fix settlement issues and take care of where they were...
The Whipple is a twin screw. They run hot. Even when you aren't in boost and just cruising, the majority of the air has to go through the screws, where it gets compressed (heated), and then it's goes back to the top of the screws through the bypass valve (open when vac is present) and does it...
I'd go 24" depth at least for your main box.
The boxes at Menards are the best bang for the money in the 24" depth. They are built by Montezuma, who also builds the box I bought.
My garage got a lot more dreamier with the additon of one of these.

I cannot overstate how much the depth matters on a toolbox. 30" is where it's at....
It's not Snap-On grade, but's it's not...

You also need a PC laptop and a good OBDII adapter.
Get this adapter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VQVD3F/?tag=fordraptorforum-20
It's pretty tough by yourself IMO. I do not ever look forward to putting it on/taking it off, and I don't even have the hold open bars to deal with on mine.
If you have a second person to crawl in the bed to undo the bolts and then help take it off, it's a lot easier. Then you only have...
