It'd be even better if the pinion bearing lasted at least 150K miles- that's kind of the minimum people have come to expect from a Ford truck with no isssues IMO, and they should go 250K+ miles if they are maintained.
I don't think Ford makes any axle housing type bearings in-house, so they...
Your anecdotal story about your F250 is just that- one truck, one story.
The 97-03 F150 system covers millions of trucks, and the fact is- the front axles did not need constant service.
In fact, the 97-03 trucks need LESS service than the 09-14 setup. By far. The only thing the 09-14...
How is spinning a part wearing it? Maybe wearing the bearings at most? Bearings are literally designed to spin.
The 97-03 F150s were connected at the drivers side, which drove the diff and driveshaft. It was disconnected at the T-case and midway on the right side axle.
There were no issues...
"Clique."
I just got finished loading about 600 lbs of shit in and out of the Raptor- I think I'm fine on the pushups for today there chief brodoze.
The fact you can't understand why lifting a Raptor is stupid shows how stupid you are.
I'd have given him the link to the only place you can buy the sunroof repair parts, but he can find it himself for all I care now.
Calling CleverGirl a hoe and all- that ain't cool man.
I don't think Ford is as good at stamping aluminum panels yet as they should be.
There needs to be more instutional knowledge, company wide in-house knowledge of the process doesn't exist yet, like it does with the stamping of steel panels.
BS. It's all user error. People run the wrong socket size (too large) and damage the jacket, then it goes downhill from there.
There's nothing wrong with the SS sleeved lugs, oither than they are not impervious to stupid like solid steel lugs are. Problem with solid steel lugs is they...
For future reference, uou should stop driving anything *right now* if a low oil pressure light comes on.
It was probably already eating itself at that point anyways though- and that engine was coming out either way.
Generally, they are terrible. The old small Ford dealerships out in the country areas are the only ones I like to deal with.
Our closest dealer at least has a above average service depot, which is rare.
Scabs and Screws have different shocks/part numbers. I think those 4J/5K are Screw shock part numbers.
Don't forget about the Motocraft ASHxxxxx part numbers too.
I've never see a truly complete part number list for both cab configurations and Gen 1 OEM Fox shocks.
Ford absolutley dicked the R guys by keeping the stock F150 brake setup.
It should have got a rotor size upgrade and the requsite 18" wheels/tires. Even if Ford re-used the cheap caliper they use now, it'd perform so much better on a bigger rotor.
Might be something in the pipeline though...
Even with a photo of the failed plastic part in front of you, you still can't accept the fact a metal part is better?
Her dee der- lets go mix up some plastic.....
Exactly how was the water being applied? There's no way that much should be coming in without a direct pressurized stream of water. If you are simply sheeting water across the area and that much is coming in, you have issues. If you are blasting a garden hose right on the seam, I'd say it's...
