Do you have Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs? They are pretty highly regarded off road tires in general, and are very good in the rain and snow- lots of sipes. No other "off road tire" is as siped as the Duratracs- except for, you guessed it, the BFG KO2s.
Having a factory S/C'ed V8 sure is nice when it comes to upgrades.
1000 RWHP is doable on E85 with the 3.8L IMO, you'll just need the fueling to get there. Go big on the intake components- T/B, tube, filter. Intake restrictions are the msot important thing to avoid on positive displacement...
I bought the ESP on one Ford I have (not the Raptor).
I ran the numbers on upfront costs vs # of trips + deductibles- I had to make over 5 trips to the dealer to make the higher initial warranty price worth the lower deductables. I went with the highest deductable, and I've used it 0 times in...
I wouldn't "recommend" any Ford dealer in the SW Ohio region after dealing with most of them over the years. Just pick your posion, as none will be happy that you didn't buy it from them. Fuller is the closest to you.
Yes, powertrain warrenty is voided by a tune. Mileage will be the same or worse. More power takes more fuel to create in general.
You'll get more power, but the engine will be way closer to the ragged edge. If you "use it" for real work- don't tune it. If it's a toy you drive around...
Assuming it's stock, unless you live on the face of the sun, put 87 in it. It'll be fine.
You trying to streetrace your Raptor? Do you really need that extra bit of HP to make it onto the highway? Maybe when it's hot out and the truck is heavily loaded, pulling a trailer in the summer- then...
Sounds like the guys designing the trucks don't really use trucks much.
You guys need access to service data to troubleshoot the camera system. You need to know first how they work in general. What talks to what, what activates what, etc. Then go verify all of that one by one and you'll find...
The "calibration" is the factory tune. The factory calibrations do change over the run of a vehicle. Once, maybe twice is comnmon- depnds on how many issues arise from the original calibration.
So he's saying he built a new custom tune starting with the latest Ford calibration- which is...
630 WHP is pretty stout. Saw a dyno vid on YT of the Raptor R and it put down 580 at the tires.
Nobody can do any emissions defeat anymore, the EPA has been handing out fines. You can make plenty of power with cats, it just costs more.
If you are running a screw or roots blower...
Your goal is to keep it as close to stock as possible. The more offset you have, the more likely it is to smash your tires into your fenders/flares at full suspension compression.
Stock wheels are +34 offset, 8.5" wide.
So if you bolted on a 10" wheel with the same +34 offset, the inner wheel...
I have a +8 wheel with a 9" wide rim and it sticks out plenty far.
Use a online wheel comparision tool if you are having trouble figuring it out.

Nobody wants to get dirty, so they take the easy way out and throw the strap over the ball or the ball mount.
Wrap the strap around the frame, or at least the cross piece on the receiver hitch.
A "receiver hitch" is the part on the truck. A "ballmount" goes into receiver hitch.
My ballmount is a soild steel forging, not square tubing. It's a heavy ****. The 4" drop is forged into it as well, not welded onto tubing.
Good mounts are out there if you look for them...
Did not care for the Gen 2's I've driven.
Arm rests were too low, trans was too shifty, and the rear end seemed skitterish.
They were tuned, so they were "fast" - but only fast when compared to other trucks.
The Gen2 "aggro" stying will be outdated soon (Ford already dropped it)- but the Gen...
I picked up a used car that had intermittantly dragging rear brakes, and it was evident new pads and rotors had been installed not too long before I bought it. If a used car has brand new rear brakes- that's usually not a good thing.
Clearly the PO had enough with the brake issues and they...
I've put 100+ Motorcraft filters on a dozen or so Fords I've owned, and never had a single problem with the filters or the engines that had anything to do with oiling. Spending more on fancy filters is a waste of money. Put the extra "filter money" towards changing it more often, especially...
You only need to measure the diameter of the pulley. You also have to know the number of ribs on the belt and wether the idler face is grooved or smooth.
Metco or ASP can get you what you need from that. If it's a 90mm or 100mm diameter, or close to it, Metco should will have something on...
