Don't be a salty your fenders look as flat as every other pickup made in the last 60 years- other than the '10-'14 Raptors that is, they have curves for days. You can cut yerself on a Gen 2.
Gen 2/3 bedside fenders are so close to a normal F150, Joe Public would never notice the difference if the trucks were parked next to each other. Front is much more apparent, but still relatively flat sided.
Gen 1 looks like a real baja truck with the sweep of the curved fender going from the...
Only the 2013-2015 F150s can be upgraded to Sync3. 2016+ got it from the factory.
The 2012 and older trucks have a totally different electrical system.
Marketing at it's "best".
I called them out on this same BS on another forum and they acted like there was some hidden magic in their tune that I couldn't possibly understand.
The fact is, there is NO way for a Ford engine to know what octane fuel is in the tank, and there's no changes to...

All 2015+ F150s and most of the 2017+ Super Duty trucks use the same cabin.
If truly there's a difference in hip room like the specs show, it'd be from the doors/door panels sticking into the cab more.
Given the whole point of the Raptor and the TRX is the factory engineered mid-length travel supension- you might as well ditch the TRX, unless you want to keep it around as a beater.
TRX might be good for hauling trash to the dump, depending on how bad the road is to the dump.
If they aren't leaking and they are still damping the springs, there's nothing wrong with them. A higher damping rate from a new shocks vs a well used shock may be noticable, but is the ride or handling truly any better?
Versus a totally blown out shock, sure- but vs one that has no issues and...
You have to charge it a certain way- you can't just go to the posts or the BMS doesn't see the charge. You have to hook the negative up to an engine ground so the BMS sensor sees the current as it flows from the engine block through the negative cable, which is where the sensor is located...
1) This only applies to repeated braking though. Most Raptor owners looking for a BBK want the single emergency stop from high speeds to be shorter. It's disconcerting to not have ABS kicking in at high sppeds because there is not enough braking force to lock the tire. The larger caliper does...
I feel any synthetic is just fine for any stock Ford engine- no matter how cheap.
The VIs breaking down is why I would not recommend a 0W-40 vs a 5W-30, as they are more modifiers in the 0W-40.
I never said it did.
Speaking of "Not totally true" :)
What does "thicken" mean- exactly...
When I replaced the driver's side seat skin on the bottom, I upgraded the foam as well. The new foam is softer than OEM, even though it's still firm. Hard to describe.
I can drive my Raptor 800 miles in a day without feeeling sore. Nothing else I've driven even comes close for me.
Calling it "leather" at all is a stretch.
The only Fords that have got real leather in decades is the King Ranch truck seats- that same ones that most nobody liked and Ford dropped them.
If you want to see what it can do without going whole hog, you could start with this stuff.

You get a feeling for the shine and slickness of a full ceramic coating with going all out on it initially. You have to apply it the same...
You wouldn't damage the paint, but you could get an uneven ceramic finish/shine. It's really not that hard though, jsut go one panel at a time.
It can be removed, but it's not easy, since that's kind of the whole point of it.
Ford will finally fix the phaser issue when they stop making the 3.5L EB engine.
I love my 3.5L EB engine's performance, but it has design issues that I'm not in denial about.
FordTechZero- you don't know what I own outside of what I've posted here. You don't have to own a Gen 2/3 Raptor to...
Brakes:
Flush your brake system periodically. Buy fluid in metal cans. If you want to pressure bleed, the best way is to buy one with a diaphram separating the fluid from the pressurized (and humid) air. I have a smaller version of something like this that KD Tools used to sell...
It did cut down on the low end throttle response, as expected. The engine has to breathe through a real filter in lieu of pasta sieve.
A good test for air filters is to simply hold it to the sun and look inside of it. You shouldn't be able to see sunlight through it- unlike a K&N, which looks...
No on the CAI. Stock airbox and paper filters are always better at filtration than any highflow stuff. If you want it to last- don't feed the engine more dirt than necessary.
My truck had a K&N in the stock airbox when I bought it. I threw that away and put a paper one in it's place.
