It's relevant because it convinces people who are not savvy with engines and tuning to spend their money with one company thinking they have some special feature in their tune- but in reality that's not the case. Any tuner can do the exact same thing. You can do it yourself if you purchase...
Love my black Raptor. Nothing looks better than a black Gen 1. With the curves of the fenders, it gleams from all angles. Who cares about some little scratches or patin chips- you don't see any of that from more than 5 feet away.
Still get nothing but gawking from the other (mostly Chevy)...
Yep, a good driver can out brake ABS. It's a lot harder if you are turning, but in a straight line- it's not that hard to do.
Just watch ABS in slow motion and you can see it repeatedly locks up the tire before it releases it. As soon as it's locked, you go from a rolling coefficient of...
Powerstop is junk IMO. They can market like nobody else though.
I'd buy OEM or Centric. The OEM pad is the best all around pad. You will give up something to gain someting else.
That's a machined face that is clear coated. The clear failed at the edges and the corriosion started. The little wormy looking things is the aluminum oxidizing. Go look at any 15 year old car with aluminum wheels and you'll see the same thing.
Method wheels are cheap. They are made in...
Check the wiring where it goes from the cab into the door. It flexes everytime you open the door.
It's a common failure on the rear doors for some reason, but can happen up front too.
You are right- there's nothing you can do if you drive it in the crap.
I keep mine dry. I'm not losing another 4WD truck to the salt.
I surely don't need a 4WD truck to make it through the "snow"- which is usually only a 1/2" of snow with 1/2" of salt spread over it.
I just can't understand! Her dee der...
Please just stop patronizing me.
The "auto octane" is marketing BS and you know it. Using that nomenclature, you fool people who have no idea what a load based calibration strategy even means into thinking "This tune knows what octane is in the tank...
Is it though? When I was shopping in 2016, a 4WD Lariat stickered for $72K.
Add in a *way* better suspension, an engine putting out twice the HP- and I feel like there is another reason I'm forgetting...
Oh, yea. That's right. The US Government is devaluing the dollar at a rate that is...
Only way to fix it is to unstitch it all, and re-stitch it back together as a smaller cover. A good upholstery shop could easily do that.
You do not want it permanantly attached to what's underneath. The foam and cover should be able to slide past each other.
They probably damaged either your IWE vac lines or the actual IWEs doing the ball joints.
It's a plastic vac line. On a 11 year old vechile. Right next to the brake rotor. Look at it wrong and it'll break.
If you do the lines, replace the lines with cupronickle brake lines or soft copper...
I pull the skid plate(s) everytime since it's not my DD and I might change the oil every three years.
No mess at all w/o the skid plate and you can easily inspect the front of the engine for leaks.
