I’m in a similar situation. I have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 37’s. They are a little loud and they do slip a bit in the rain. Not the best snow rating either. Off Road performance in the rocks and dirt is great.
I had Toyo AT2’s on my last truck and they were great. Very quiet and excellent...
3 of the 4 led’s on my passenger side rear marker light are out. Does anyone know a good place to find a replacement and where to find an install video?
Thanks in advance.
I am a huge fan of the color. It seems like a consensus that most people want this color brought back. I also have a Bronco Wildtrack on order in Cactus Grey. I'm curious to see how similar the colors are whenever it finally shows up.
I feel like an idiot for not looking first before posting. The grommet was loose and a little bit of adjusting and I sealed up the gap. no more warm air. Thank you!
Good to know the harder shifts are normal.
After months of searching, going back and forth between gens, and driving half a dozen trucks it is finally here.
Flew to DC and picked up a Raptor to drive home smiling the whole time.
This forum has already helped me tremendously and look forward to learning as much as possible about this...
Hey man,
Interested in your truck.
do you have any more pictures?
I would have to fly in from Virginia Beach so I'd like to get some details prior to consideration if you don't mind.
Thanks,
Richie
Well, I hope you are slightly off about the price dip after the Gen 3 coming out. I just don't understand how you could ask someone to pay 75k for a slightly used 19 or 20 Raptor when you could order a brand new 21 base Raptor for 64k. I'm guessing 801a for less than 70k. 802a for less than 75k...
Appreciate the insight. This forum has helped tremendously with avoiding costly mistakes. I've spent the last several weeks looking at how to do 37's properly on the gen 2 for off-road use. It seems to be a lot more than what this truck has and what I'm looking to spend on mods.
From what I've...
Any pictures of this Shelby Raptor?
I’ve seen some gen 1’s with mileage around 100k selling for around 40k. That seems absurd to me but people are paying it. You could probably go somewhere in the 50k range.
There is a thread for Raptors for sale near the bottom of the main threads page. I was thinking of getting a 13-14 gen1 but the prices are damn near what a 17-18 Gen 2 will go for with roughly the same mileage from what I've seen. Maybe will see a slight drop when the Gen 3 is open for orders in...
Hello all,
I am looking to get into a gen 2 Raptor since I will be moving out west in the near future and can finally justify having all that capability in a truck.
I leaning towards a SCAB (tighter trails by my house) but not opposed to Screw. I would like to try and find a lower mileage...
I appreciate all the insight, I'm hoping to see a small dip in pricing once people start ordering their gen 3's. I Maybe completely wrong on this but I'd imagine there will be a lot of raptor owners wanting to trade up for the latest and greatest.
You are probably right on a 19 or 20 being my...
I can understand the perspective of a gen 1 having a more proven reliability record. It is a V8 with less going on electronically. The 6.2 has proven itself through 2xxxxx miles. Great truck.
I have driven both gens in the desert and there is absolutely no way one can argue the Gen 1 is more...
