I did it in my Jeep a few years ago. Most of it was easy. It was trail 93 that was crazy and I even destroyed my king shock shaft. Either way I just called the ranger district and they said it’s remaining closed as there was “a bunch of trail damage from illegal off-roading.” I’ll have to check...
Just left the Pige last week. Absolutely hated it but I hate crowds. Down in GA for a few days near blue ridge. Hoping to get out to Beasley knob ohv tomorrow.
the bottom of the resi of the shock has it laser engraved on. My first few days were great but after about 1000 miles it still kind of sounds like a lose chatter here and there.
Do you have the part numbers for your rear shocks?
Mine clunks when you jump up and down pretty aggressively but it doesn’t even seem to come from the shocks
Hello all,
After 2 Dongar dash cam adapters failed on me im looking at other options. I purchased a Garmin Parking Mode Cable kit for my Garmin dash cam but I don't want to wire it to the fuse box with add a wires or anything like that, I would prefer to use the AUX 6 on my trucks up fitter...
That whole “jump on the bed up and down” clunk that i still have even with my new shocks doesn’t seem to be coming from the shocks or suspension. It’s actually really hard to nail down where its coming from but with someone helping me by jumping up and down on the rear bumper i almost felt like...
I’m not even sure what I’m looking for. I just seem to notice that start stop wasn’t working as expected with the motorcraft battery but has been with my Walmart H8. I’m sure there’s tons of algorithms in between the computer saying engage and the battery itself though.
I JUST got done swapping back and forth with the new battery and the only few month old problematic motorcraft battery. the motorcraft NEVER had stop start engage, saying "charging" as the reason on the dash. It was charging at 13.5V so im assuming low SOC. went back to my new H8 and immediately...
Hell ya. Hopefully that fixes your problems. I’ve been monitoring mine and I’m getting about 5% SoC drain in 24hrs. I feel like that’s normal and I’m even seeing the truck reach 80% (ford BMS set limit) within 45 minutes of driving which I haven’t seen routinely with my motorcraft battery.
We will see, I agree with you but in my case I did have the original battery replaced by ford only to run into the same issue of low SOC and the vehicle never being charged up enough to engage stop start. Hoping this non motorcradt H8 will do the trick but time will have to tell.
Moved to an H8 today. Auto start stop engaged right away. SOC was also 72 and went up to 75 after 15 minutes of driving. Time will tell…
Fits no problem in a gen 3. Even the battery blanket fits over it.
I’ve talked with that awesome man a few times now. The problem is there are no DTCs or things to go off of. The battery is just low sometimes. Perhaps going to an H8 battery (as suggested in a few posts in f150gen14 forum) is the fix. A few of them have done it and has completely resolved their...
