Never hated the ecoboost but the very first vehicle we had with one was I guess a lemon of an engine. 3.5LTT in a 2013 explorer sport.
Loved the torque of the engines.
Sort of want to get an expedition with the H.O. 3.5L for the wife but not at the current prices/rates.
What's their hourly rates, 300 a hour for the admin up front?
Definitely look up independent shops for any repair work. One thing for under warranty stuff or a fluid change here and there for warranty reasons but that's bending you over pricing.
Still curious about the leaking oil.
Also, your parents bought you a Raptor. You were doing offroad stuff. I get being upset, but it's like giving a 5 year old a hammer and being mad they swing it at the wall.
I've had 3 Gen 1's and 1 Gen 2.
If you asked me which one I liked the most, it's the Gen 2, even comparing it to the Roush supercharged Gen 1 I had.
Before I bought the Gen 2, I was still looking for the "right" Gen 1 as well but ultimately wanted to try out the newer platform.
I bought a...
Looks like it comes with a 3 month 4k warranty, which should* cover any issues that could arise early on.
* Limited Warranty: 3 Month/4,000 Mile (whichever comes first) after new car warranty expires or from certified purchase date
* 139 Point Inspection
* and 11,000 FordPass Rewards Points...

Based off this thread, as long as the truck you're buying isn't lifted in anyway, you should be good.
I'm 99% sure this is the 17-18 front shocks on Rockauto.

Just in case R.A. is using the wrong stock photo but when searching that part number other sites pull it up as the Gen 2 non live valve front shocks.
That site has some deals from time to time.
Another place to watch is priority tire. Got a set of the ST MAXX a few years back for $788. May of been a glitch in their pricing but they honored it.
Not at all.
The TRX is a nice option for an offroad truck that has stupid amount of power.
Suspension wise offroad, watching back to back runs in the same sections between Gen 2/3 Raptors vs a TRX the Raptors seemed to handle jumps smoother/not be nose heavy, but the TRX isn't some slouch...
Huh, legit first time I've seen a SRT Neon in years. It's like they all got repoed and crushed in Florida.
I really think some drivers do not understand the limits of their cars and their clapped out Altima, neon, g35 etc are do not have the handling ability they think it does. Homie does a...
From memory they aren't obnoxiously loud but definitely had a nice hum. On my Gen 1 put 18k miles on them and they were smooth rolling at highway speeds and wearing great. Offroad wise, areas that I had to go to 4wd with K02's I could get by with 2wd with the STTs.
I'll let you know tomorrow...
You had the entire truck as in mold inside the cab or the smell was lingering in the cab from the hood?
IIRC Ford has some F150 trims without the shield.
Ordered tires.
Going back to STT Pros.
Getting them installed tomorrow
Had them on my 13 Terrain and loved them.
Next up is trying to decide on leaf springs.
Bought the truck used, so it came with some Hankook AT2 dynapros. After a few offroad runs, can say they've made me change my mind on them.
Good on the road in rain, dry etc.
Soft sand it seems to grip nicely. And this past weekend we went through areas of water, mud and wet shellrock. Saw a few...
