If you go offroad, odds are you will get hooked on taking it offroad often. And then you'll start spending thousands on mods.
The Raptor is wider, but it's not that much bigger than a standard F-150. If you can park a F-150, you can park a Raptor.
But if the truck is mainly for pavement...
Rear diff would be a good one to change out now. Especially if you've been through any water. I did the ford performance cover when I swapped mine for future ease of changing the oil.
Yup on transfer case.
Front diff I just let the dealer deal with.
Transmission I would drop the pan and...
Probably got a partial clog in the line if it only does it in heavy rain.
That being said, I had water coming out of the right side handle and it was a defective seal up top on my gen 2. The dealer did it free of charge and didn't write it up so I don't have the part number.
I get weekly same thread annoyance but new tires come out, people have more opinions over the years or months.
Kind of funny seeing newer posters here with gatekeeping posts.
But yea, let's just make sure new threads are only on new, never discussed topics.
Measure 1.33" from your stock wheels edge and that's the new poke of the wheel/tire.
Potential rubbing also depends on tire. Still rocking Ko2s or going to a true 35 tire like a R/T or M/T toyo?
My Gen 2 had some rubbing at full lock with +0 offset and true 35's
Yea it's a dark blue.
Was debating between that and the white one I own.
Wish it was a smidge more blue than black. Some angles/lighting it looks like a black truck.
Something about these trucks I just love to drive it all the time.
Between that and having kids in booster seats, is probably the main reason why I haven't bought another GT500. It'll just sit most weeks as the Raptor is just to go to for everything.
Shouldn't of clicked this thread.
Want to get back into riding dirt bikes. Waiting for the youngest to be old enough to ride the PW-50 and then it's deciding on which brand to go back to.
Hey Kevin, nice to see some FRR members on here too. Been on that page since Nick made it after the split from SE raptors page. Definitely looking forward to the next run.
Nick selling his truck and then his passing definitely hurt the amount of times for these runs.
There was a time it felt like there was a run every month, either Citrus or Ocala.
Usually I just head up there by myself to find more trails.
37 PP wheels are my favorite Raptor wheel released to date. One wheel I will never swap out, unless needed due to needing aftermarket UCAs.
Bought mine Monday. Need to get some better pictures of it.
Man, that is some shit luck.
Definitely feel since COVID it's been poor across the board.
Toyota now has an engine that makes the cam phasers issue minor. lol
Why not look at TRX? Suspension is behind, but at least you get the power.
I bounce around Fords, but usually not due to issues...
Market is different down here, but the dealer 2 hours from me has almost the same truck you may trade in, minus the color, that they had on the market at 74k, down to 70k right now.
Would say there's a good chance due to the mileage.
Due to the year and mileage I would venture to guess...
