Go with option 2, if you want to keep the Raptor. God forbid you get into an accident, your fault or not, if they see the tow weight over the limit you'll have a lot more headaches to deal with. Option 1 takes you way over the limits for the Raptor, legally.

Can't go wrong with a SCAB, especially if leg room in the back isn't a high priority. I can sit in the back of a SCAB just fine, at 5'11. It's not super comfortable but it works.

No other supercab F-150 has the 5.5 ft bed. So you won't be able to accurately measure the truck with any regular configured supercab, which only comes with a 6.5ft or 8ft bed

I went from a GT500 to a Raptor and never regretted it. Both have their strengths and negatives. Just comes down to what you want out of a fun vehicle.
