Also the more they produce the more aftermarket goodies will be made. Companies have to justify the R & D for everything. Hard to make it worth it for a run of 3k trucks but with 10-15k total ( hopefully more ) out there it changes things. Of course most of the truck is same as 37 package and...
Those numbers seem off. So 4100 Raptor 35/37. 25 percent are 37. So you’re going to build 1400 R but only 1000 37 trucks ?? Something is not right. This sounds like a couple months of production not just march.
Welcome to forum, those small cars are fun for sure. My wife as a 19 Golf R that I take out and abuse once a month or so, you know put gas in it. That garage is amazing.
It will interesting to see how this plays out. Ford cannot giveaway regular 2023 F150 right now the lots are full of them around me and it’s 2024. The Raptor market has always seemed isolated to its own thing however.
I did and 1 of the 2 trucks got built. Not mine. This year I had them order a 37 and another R I have the first 2024 when they can place an order. Now the 37 order got pulled in Dec and has a build week in a month, hoping I have a build week for the R before the 37 hits the lot or I have a...
Honestly if they make it ( The V8 R ) through the 2028 mode that is as good anyone can hope for given where things are and have been headed, regardless of the election results. I just want a build date. 18 months in now.
I guess it depends on how you use truck. The weather tech ones just cover a lot more area. They keep dirt grass gravel etc from getting everywhere embedded in the carpet. If it is just around town probably not as big of a deal. Shortens vacuum time down a lot. I really wish they had a carpet...
I have had the Leitner Designs rack on three raptors. No issues on any of them. You do have to drill a few holes in the bed but that system is very solid.
They ( Braptor ) are starting to sit on lots now. Hard to believe a Raptor R is now only 11-12k more than a Bronco raptor. Not sure what the Braptor started at but they have gone waaay up fast.
They are going the way of Toyota. This is how you get it, would you like a roof and bedliner, that’s it. My 2022 37pp was $79500 no roof. Big jump this year.
They are giving them out month by month- this according to two dealers I have done business with. I sold my 22 last spring and my 23 R was not built of course leaving me temporarily raptor less at the moment. I asked them to order a 24 37pp and a 24 R. They said they are informed of when they...
I agree there are two totally different dynamics of raptor owners also. One would be annoyed and wonder why you thought they would even acknowledge your presence. I always wave back, sometimes it is just a finger off the steering wheel, no not the middle one.
Stopped by there today. Apparently they are getting allocations on a month by month basis. Beginning of Dec he said they will release to him the stores allocations for the month and what type of order(s) he can place. This was from sales mgr.
Just my dealer, however they are reliable and have multiple orders/purchases with them. I “trust” them. The 37/R orders I think they are slow rolling. Not sure they want to keep demand up by keeping them thin on lots or 37 specific part supplier issues. But I am being patient it will happen- I...
