Another thing you can do is go into forscan and put on secure idle. Truck will not go into drive without the keyfob detected. The truck will start but no drive. I have that turned on as well as my keyfobs in a Faraday box in the house.
I have heard that if you have you key within a certain distance of your truck thrives can catch you key signal and boost it somehow to unlock your truck and break in and even steal it. They are saying you need to get one of those Faraday boxes to block that signal. I bought a cheap one on...
I have a dometic fridge and I put it in the cab behind passenger seat with the 40 back seat folded up. Passenger still has plenty of leg room. If I was to put it in the bed there is no way I would just let it slide around back there. Maybe a bed divider to keep it between divider and the...
Good looking truck. I'm not much help really, but I went with McNeil. I have not installed them yet and not sure when I'll get them on. Have a friend/shop owner ordering a McNeil kit for his F150 build he is doing so told him to grab me some +2 as well.
I know Winfield does an amazing job tuning but to throw out another option not far from you is Gearhead in College Station. I know Matt is or will be shortly working with some on his dyno.
I wish they would have been out when I had my rebuild. I would have for sure got them instead of the CRP...
Gotcha. Im in Redondo and back and forth to Texas.
I couldn't take having stuff get wet so I broke down and bought the Dometic. No regrets. I swap it in and out of the truck and jeep and when I don't have it in either one of those, I have it plugged in out in the garage with some beverages...
First off great pics! Looked like a great trip. Love your truck too. Where you at in LA?
So that is exactly what I do in my truck. I have very similar mods as well. I watch my ngauge and when boost hits about 7-8 psi I will drop to 9th and boost up again ill drop to 8th. Would way rather...
Little late as well. Welcome from College Station.
I rocked 20s on my Raptor for a bit when she was a pavement princess. It looked good. But dropped mine back down to 17s now that I have been hitting the dirt alot more with her.
If you like it thats all that matters!
Im not much of a snow driver but see my share or rain depending on where I'm at. I think they may be Worth a shot for the price. I do like the sidewall look but I need them to be pretty strong.
I can be pretty rough on my sidewalls.
First off GLWS...
I'm thinking of picking up some of those G003 in 40s for my Jeep since the Nitto Trail grapplers are pretty hard to find right now. Whats your thoughts? Hows the sidewall strength?
Did you hit Poughkeepsie Gulch? Prob the hardest obstacle in the area but in terms or hard its pretty easy for a built jeep.
You need to hit the trails just west of Montrose if you haven't yet. Those are pretty tough.
Beautiful pics btw. I didnt make it up there this year so im pretty...
Bump.
Need these gone. They are still wrapped in 37x12.50r20 nitto ridge grapplers that have some tread left or can just junk the tires.
They have TPMS in as well.
Make me a offer.
Pick up in New Braunfels, TX
