I did the same thing last year. Relatively easy, but yes, the force needed to get them out was unerving. Also, my clunking remains, although it only seems to do it when its wet out side. No clunks in the dry.
@Spike Spiegel i make bed supports similar to the old style Evil made. Send me a PM if you're interested.
@FordPerf Addict i will have 3rd brake lights for Gen 2s in a few weeks if you want one similar to RPG or GJ.
you don't need to set it to a specific height. The shock take approx 40oz of fluid, so fill it up with 20-30oz, then cycle the IFP a few times to bleed out any air. Then pull the IFP up a few inches (doesn't really matter) and add the remaining fluid. Install the upper cap and shaft and...
Gen 1 shocks are 2.5" diameter and the Gen 2 are 3" diameter so they will look bigger. 2017-2018 have same color scheme with blue and polished and the live valve (2020+) are red. The Gen 1 bodies are also steel so you'll see a lot more corrosion on those shocks
That’s correct. 3 Baja designs S2 and you will need a wire harness to connect to your uplifter switches. You can get them from LVJ motorsports or probably 4x4 truck leds or off-road alliance
RPG 3rd Brake light for Gen 3 Raptor. Ordered this for a customer that changed his mind and past the return window. Still in brand new condition. Comes with what you see in the pic.
$500.00
will ship at buyers expense
WHat year is your truck? I have a 2011 and when I talked to SDI about live their system it sounded like i wouldn't get much value out of it. The 2010-2012 have different electrical than the 2013-14 and basically what i understood was that the system wouldn't adjust based on truck movement...
Finally got sick of seeing my rusting, flaking diff cover so i pulled it off, cut off the Ballastic Fabrication skull, sand blasted and powder coated it. Only took 4 hours and i'm pretty sure half of it was sand blasting. When i originally got it, I liked the raw steel look so i just clear...
@TomDirt where did you see steel UCA's from RPG? I've been wanting a new set but don't want heim joints at the frame so i was looking at Baja Kits or Blitzkrieg.
@mtnghost I would suggest Deavers and stock shocks for your use. The Icons sometimes don't play well with other kits if you...
Hey guys, i need some opinions on a different version of my 3rd brake light. I finally have the design and wiring figured out for the gen 2 lights so those will go into production soon. I'm thinking about making one with only the 2 outside S2 lights and a normal cargo light in the center. I'm...
Hey guys, i need some opinions on a version of my 3rd brake light. I'm thinking of making one with a normal cargo light instead of an S2 cargo. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in that style? It would still be plug and play (except the outside S2s) and would cost the same except you...
I'm not sure thats 100% correct. I never took physics nor am i a suspension expert but from what i understand one side of the IFP is 100% fluid and the other side is 100% gas. Gas compresses, fluid does not. In its free state (not on the truck) the shaft should be fully extended and no empty...
A test is worth 1000 expert opinions. If the shock is built correct, there should be only fluid on one side of the IFP and only nitro on the other side. If the shock compresses at all the IFP should move and decrease the volume of the chamber, increasing the pressure. With the shocks...
