Howdy. I’ve got a really annoying rattle which sounds like it’s coming from the rear passenger C pillar. I’ve messed with the seatbelt, buttoned down the jack and gasoline nozzle, put the seats up and down, banged around on panels to try to localize but nothing seems to help. It’s a 2023 35...
You're correct. I keep forgetting to switch to that. It does do a pretty good job and it does seem to act like a better normal mode without being full blown sport mode.
Uh...you must have gotten a special truck. My 2023 is just as janky and messy as my 2020. They are identical in every single way. Id pay 500 bucks just to have a transmission as sorted as the ZF 8 speeds ive had....or really any other automatic I've ever owned.
If its a gimmick in the Raptor, then I suppose all adaptive/electrically adjustable suspension is a gimmick? I sure like being able to adjust it from the steering wheel for different situations in all the cars I've owned with electronic adjustable suspension. 100% needed...not really...another...
As others have said. Checking out Autotrader to see what the cheapest available comparable mile, year, and features trucks go for is the best way. Remove 3-4 grand from the great value dealership deals for private party is where you’ll be for a sale. If you don’t have any comparable trucks...
Yeah I drove the 23 the first time today after being out of town for a week. First application of the brake coming down the driveway I had an awkward learners permit sudden braking moment where I kinda went “huh”. Could be I was used to the rental car though. I don’t think my truck had an...
The thing I notice quite a bit when I rarely run a tank of 87 (usually when I purge my 30 gallons of summer time hurricane gas) is the transmission does a lot of gear hunting and seems more confused. I imagine it’s because it upshifts too quickly and there isn’t enough power, so it bogs down...
Imagine the horror if the gen 4 is still 450hp , and even more locked down. There was quite a bit of shock that the gen 3 wasn't rated for extra power, no real guarantee with the gen 4 either even with the RHO out there.
Nvm I got ya. For some reason I took that as you weren't going to get a Raptor and instead a phrase that made no sense to me. Forgot that you were designing graphics....carry on.
Yeah when I sent my SAEs back for the rebuild I really think they just gave me new ones. Either that or their restoration process is the best known to man.
Yeah their logic seemed to be because they've never seen a failure like that it must be abuse or impact. Sure I didn't tell them I was messing around a little, but sure wasn't doing anything countless Raptor people haven't already done a million times. Ultimately, they knew it was a...
The dealer told me they'd more likely cover the internals being shredded than a busted housing when I asked what sorta differential failure would you cover? They also told me to go through insurance claiming an impact even though there was no sign of impact anywhere. 2K is about right, it...
A very similar thing happened to me. My front diff case on one of the mounts failed on a very minor “hop”. Not sure if there was actual air involved, but the dealer saw a few bits of mud under it and denied my coverage. I had 3.0 FRS on all 4 corners, so I wasn’t completely stock, but it...
