    6.2l whistle

Get underneath the truck and look at the rear couple of bolts, holding manifold to head. Bet a dollar you have at least 1 broken/missing one.

    6.2l whistle

The brake clean/carb cleaner trick doesn't work anymore. The computers are so fast at compensating/adjusting fuel. Also computer, is extremely sensitive to air leaks and would flag a check engine light. My bet would be a leak in the exhaust, most likely the at the manifold and cylinder head...

2021 Roush/Alcon Brake Kit Install Experience on 2020 gen 2

The video posted by @Zeusmotorworks is 75-0, video I posted is 60-0 and the statement by hammer is 60-0. Just to be clear on said test conditions.

2021 Roush/Alcon Brake Kit Install Experience on 2020 gen 2

I new I saw it somewhere here. Not a video but a post. Seems his truck could be heavier with 37s, and two spares, it will be hard to find an apples to apples test, but his stock brake measurements where basically the same as in the alcon video, so I expected similar numbers with the switch...

2021 Roush/Alcon Brake Kit Install Experience on 2020 gen 2

Did not see you posted similar video. Looking for Wilwood video. Yea their older kit required 20" wheels or larger so we don't want that kit.

2021 Roush/Alcon Brake Kit Install Experience on 2020 gen 2

I will see if I can find my sources in the morning. Both test had the same stock stopping distance. There are always some variables, the # difference is quite a bit.

2021 Roush/Alcon Brake Kit Install Experience on 2020 gen 2

So in the small but couple tests I have seen done. Stock braking from 60mph is 150 ft +/- a few feet. Willwoods are -17% around 130 ft But alcons are -45% around 106ft. (If I have mistaken something please say so)

Winter De-Tune - Spark Plug Choice?

Having a plow would just allow people of lesser vehicle to follow, eph that sh-it. Get your own. Might as well put an asphalt-er on the back so prius can hang with you.

Winter De-Tune - Spark Plug Choice?

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Fair enough, you an Amazon driver (just giving you some crap). You will gain HP and MPG with higher octane. The HP rating isn't based on the worst conditions, it is based on the best. It doesn't sound like you drive enough to make it pay, but I would estimate with 87 you are down 2-3 mpg...

Winter De-Tune - Spark Plug Choice?

So what you are saying is you don't actually know how to drive anything but a prius. I would get tracks before I detuned, just saying. And yes I have seen a Michigan winter (upper peninsula) definitely harsh, even compared to my location.

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Have you ever tried 93? Is there a reason you have a Halo vehicle but use the lowest possible grade of fuel?? This is mind boggling to me, so in all seriousness I would like to know your thought process.

Question on Master Reset of the Sync and Subsequent issues After?

Yea, my wife's 2013 SHO has no hard buttons for heated/cooled seats. Loose that screen and you loose a lot more functionality that just the radio.

Question on Master Reset of the Sync and Subsequent issues After?

Yea, I suspect a failed APIM (sync module). The earlier ones had memory chips that would degrade over time (same thing is affecting earlier tesla vehicles, causing them to become 6,000lbs lawn ornaments)

Question on Master Reset of the Sync and Subsequent issues After?

I'll bite, why does it seem suspicious?? Do you normally have it marked on your calendar when things wil go south in your life?? Seems like a classic parts failure, especially electronics. I am trying to be some what of smart ass, don't get me wrong. But in all seriousness, I have customers...

Question on Master Reset of the Sync and Subsequent issues After?

What year? I see a few issues with the APIM (sync module). Some (not all) have an factory extended warranty program for 10 years.

New Tire Time, What's Good These Days?

I haven't installed them yet (the old cobblers kids have the worst shoes in town type thing). So when installed I will judge size. I already know they will be bigger in diameter over what I have since I am down to about 4/32 in the rear.

New Tire Time, What's Good These Days?

Let me know when you want go for a ride then. My 71 year old mom in the back seat 8 months ago (Doing 105), "I can't believe we are going 100mph on dirt, who would have ever guessed" My dad (who was off roading in the late 1960's) "yep" (My mom does most the talking if you can't tell)

    Rotational thumping or clunking noise

every IWE I have seen and I have seen a bunch made a ratcheting or grinding type noise, why because that is what is happening. The teeth on the IWE are grinding on the teeth on the axle. Thumping noise seems like it would be something else, but if you can prove me wrong please do so (post your...
