The 705 has 0 and +25 off set options. Waiting to get set up with a new distributor, who has both ICON and Method. Well see what they have in stock. Then make a decision. Current distributor only has 2 of the ICON in stock the Methods are on a 10 day back order it says.
I believe the alcon spacer is 7mm, that would make 0 offset -7 offset which is 42 mm different from factory. For us Americans that is 1.77 inches pushed out. Literally making the track width 3 inches wider over all.
That sure seems like a ton to clear calipers that clear factory wheels...
That is a no go on my end. Not sure if you notice by I run a automotive repair facility. We do about 5 sets of tires a week , but wheels we do a set every few months.
Anyway the distributors I have accounts with for the most part do NOT take returns. My main distributor only had 2 icons in...
Understood, I wouldn't go lower unless traction requirements were necessary.
I would 110% admit that 18 seems to low, but the ride quality over cobble/wash board roads is so much better the lower you go.
Before the Raptor I would take my F350 down to 25ish psi.
Obviously road conditions vary.

says works with stock wheels and tires. "Working" is a little ambiguous i guess, says fully adjustable on the truck also and that is a load of horse shit.
Yes, I was just a little disappointed when I called and was told if I had CAD/Engineering prints of the brake kit they could give them to their engineering department and see if they would fit. Well hell that isn't going to be quick. I did state that the brakes cleared OEM wheels so you would...
I just talked to ICON, no clue what a alcon brake kit is for F150, they haven't heard any reports of fender interference with the +6 off set.
I swear, wheel companies just make shit, and if it has the right bolt pattern they think it works.
It didn't sound like to me they even ever bolted...
Since I air way down, 18ish psi normally (would go lower in the sand but don't dare without something holding the bead) I want something that is or acts like a bead-lock. ICON has the innerlock and method has the bead grip. All the methods look to be 0 offset.
In the wheels won't add a ton of cost to the whole project, considering I was planning on getting bead lock rings (800 for a set of 4) and another spare (400-600 the way the oem wheels are priced and yes all 6 have to match). I can get 6 of the Icons for $1800.
No, and I don't want to push the tire out that far. Would actually perfer a +20, that would still move the tire 3/4 of and inch and. Pushing the tire out puts more load on the wheel bearing.
And this truck NOT a pavement princess.
Factory, OEM beadlock (capable) I believe is +38.
Looking at ICON rebound pro, which is +6. Would move the tire out about 1 1/4 inches.
Then more dirt gets thrown up on sides of vehicle, besides more load on wheel bearings and other possible clearance issues.
Well, as with every project there are hiccups. We have a small amount of rubbing at full lock.
Ugh, I didn't want to get wheels (I like the OEM beadlock wheels). Pretty minor but still.
Haven't done the alignment yet, so it might clear on flat level ground, but I don't go to Starbucks (I...
I just read through this entire thread. What a shit show on many levels.
The whole "built during covid" is getting old. Especially since the engine you have now wasn't built during Covid.
The biggest thing I see with Covid vehicles is the electronics being a crap shoot. Figure it has...
