The best option is always stay with the existing truck, do to it what you like, run it for 10 years to amortize all the $$ put into the vehicle to make it the way you want it. Unless your running a business off of it, this is the only way that makes any type of financial sense.

The rebound of the shock will be much faster, it wont "float" as much. Things will tighten up.

I did mine at 54k, There were no "issues" so to say but thats the service life, night and day difference when they were rebuilt.

It could be phasers still. I had some noise, not sure if it was that bad for about a month after they did mine, the by the time they got me in to look at it, it stopped , hasnt ever happened again and its been a year.

I swapped mine with a set of takeoffs at 54k miles, night and day difference in ride. Already 20k into that set so prob rebuild the other set soon.

As I understand it they plug in the part number and the system tells them if it is covered. Hopefully that is.
