    Accessport Issues

Thanks for reaching out - a few notes: A) We've made some improvements to how we're implementing Dynamic Pedal Control and other realtime adjustments to reduce the frequency of the setting reset. Make sure you're using the latest Accessport firmware and have a map resaved by your tuner. That...

Official Gen 3 COBB Tuning Thread - Accessport, Intake Bracket, etc

Different ECUs, different security, totally different ballgame than the new ECUs in the 23+ Raptors. Plus, the engineers working on ECU security aren't the same folks as those who add tuning support for ECUs that we already can flash, so progress on other Fords does not negate progress on the...

All New COBB Intakes for Gen 3 Raptor, Tremor, and more!

Well, we've certainly spent a lot of time working on it, but no break-throughs on a security exploit yet. We've readied all other resources so that once we get in, Accessports will be shipping ASAP.

All New COBB Intakes for Gen 3 Raptor, Tremor, and more!

No extension harness is needed for the IAT sensor with our Gen3-specific intake. The only reason that folks were using that extension harness was that they were installing a Gen2 intake on a Gen3 truck.

Is there a difference between Gen 2 and Gen 3 motor?

Definitely a lot of changes. Compression ratio is higher than Gen2 as mentioned earlier, turbos are different (greater compressor efficiency at higher airmass per Ford's modeled CoE), HPFP runs a few hundred PSI higher at WOT, smaller port injectors, smaller direct injectors (although pressure...

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

There is a monitor on the Accessport called "DFI/PFI Split Actual" that will report a value between 0 and 100 - 0 indicates all fueling delivered through DI, 100 indicates all fueling delivered through PI. Under most driving conditions you'll see a blend of both being used.

You're good! If you want, you can loosen up the hardware holding the shroud and snorkel tie-down and wiggle the lip of the snorkel farther towards the front of the vehicle and the shroud back a little bit. That should get it to lie flatter.

We haven't tested to see if ForScan tire size changes play nicely with an installed AP. For that reason, to be conservative I would recommend reverting the tire size change back to stock with ForScan prior to installing the Accessport. Then, use the Tire Size change function on the Accessport...

The photo labelled "Open and not problematic" is actually showing the factory revised shroud installed. Scroll a few photos down to see what the shroud removed looks like. In our testing, removal of the shroud performs just as well as our revised shroud, with the zip tie method basically just...

Yup, you'll want to select the 91 OCT map when running 92 OCT fuel. You can always run a map designed for lower octane than the fuel you're using, but never the opposite!
