I put in one of these blue ones today. I am pleasantly surprised the truck did drive better and exceeded my expectations for such a simple swap out and worth the coin. Ford Performance Parts Air Filter Elements M-9601-G Stock filter with 7500ish miles.

Btw, if you mess with the exhaust actuators, you might have to take in to Ford service to perform an exhaust valve relearn. Shout out to Earl from ESP Truck in Corona for his patience with this install.

With this Atak exhaust, I feel more vibration though the gas pedal when accelerating or deceleration. Its subtle, but can felt. The vibration matches the rpm as it goes up and down on baja mode. There might be a more technical term, but I dig it. @BadWRP do notice this with your new set up?

Back on topic, any insight on real world performance improvements. SB cost $500 and uses proprietary filter. Ford filters can be had for $100 and more readily available. Worth the extra coin? Thoughts?

Same, my wife already thinks stock baja mode is too loud. I didn't tell her about this purchase yet and hoping she won't notice. I will post a video once installed. I'm impatiently waiting for it to arrive.

I'd hate to drive behind @foremanrd or @cr23raptor1983 with their 14-15 mpg R's. Prius' are passing you up at that rate.

Well in that case, I would allow the dealer to attempt to fix it 3x and then lemon law that R! Before you know it, you’ll be in a new 24R. Document everything with dates and what they did to resolve the issue. Please keep up posted.

I'm so glad someone got this on video. Unfortunately, my R still does this periodically even after 7k+ miles and 2 oil changes. I haven't noticed any patterns of hot/cold or fuel levels. Not frequent enough for me to bring it in but it is annoying/embarrassing when it happens.
