i was able to add a marker without the pro pack, but it isn't a fast on the fly kind of thing. let me know if it's quick in pro. here's how I did it: Menu Markers New Then you get a push pin placement you can set, and icon/text.

yeah it's a 6x6 hardened ceramic tile that I used with dark grey grout, then sealed. I got the idea from my local Porsche dealer who uses the same floor, I watched them drop a tranny on it with no damage. That floor in the picture is now 9 years old and still looks new.
