YEah...$2500 is going to be tough if you have to pay someone to do your labor. I was able to do it because I did all my own labor. $1,000 is not out of the question in labor savings.
#1....stop trying to "race" in the real world, the little Hyundai won't try t race you off road. You have a Baja monster, not a 1/4 mile rocket. Square peg meet round hole. The truck is plenty "fast" for what it needs to do.....dont want people to pass you on the highway....go buy a mustang...
I almost got arrested on that run. East bound near Ft Riley, A lone 1960's Firetruck was in the left lane doing maybe 60 he had a single orange light rotating. There were 15 cars lined up behind in the right lane. I said screw it and passed them on the left. I dint think it was an active...

I am pretty sure the "roll out" you speak of is what is making everyones heated seats go bad. I am 6-3 250, and I too have to rollout. You can se in my pictures from this thread....my...
buy 6 relays, 6 fuses (1 each for the size of the accessory) (don't do a single fuse for all 6) some wire, solder, and shrink wrap and go to town.
Years ago (1990) when I worked in car stereo industry, a co worker had a full sized bronco with almost 20 separate relays doing various things. The...
it is the tires. put a straight edge on the outer tread blocks near the top. these tires tread blocks wear crazy where the alternate on the shoulder. creates a low rumble as very low speeds.
as the truck speeds up, the tires "balloon" slightly and that goes away.
Those look loud.
I have 42k on my stock k02's (with 5 tire rotation strategy). The tread looks like it has another 10k in them, but they are loud and out of balance at speeds of 65-80mph. so I just drive 90mph most of the time.
Unlearn what you have learned. This is not 1990. 3 months or 3,000 mile oil changes were over kill then, and overkill now.
Save yourself time and money. 8,000 to 10,000 mile oil changes are completely safe and normal. Modern engines and modern oil are capable of even longer intervals.
I...
Buy a fvcking mustang if you want fast QUICK!
It is an off road truck, not a street light hole shot monster. It has plenty of power to do the off roading it was intended for.
Stop trying to put a square peg in a round hole. The gen 1,2,3 Raptors are an evolution and they are perfect for...
I recently had to have a bed side replaced due to a hit and run in a parking lot. I had my guy leave the sticker off and I drove it for 3-4 days. My wife and I both agreed it looked better with it on.
to each his own. we may have just had our brain trained that way. so they put the sticker...
I had an 82 Mustang GT when I was 16 and the heater core was leaking inside the passenger footwell.
It was summer, so I just bypassed it in the engine compartment. No big deal. When winter came, I got tired of being cold so I reconnected the heater core thinking I could deal with a small leak...
The roads were wet and traffic was crazy when I wanted to pull out of a parking lot onto a 4 lane (2 each way) road. I saw a gap coming, but it would be tight, so I rotated the dial from 2wd to Awd. The gap came just as I looked up so I went for it.
Apparently the transfer case had not...
That is on you.
No insurance can ever dictate what body shop you have to use....EVER! A quality private body shop will always be better than a dealer.
But yes...it is extra work on you to find the good ones. Which is why I say you should know the good ones before you need it.
follow the specific section about the uplifters. it will be more up today.
If you need more than 10amps, use the up fitter switch to trigger a relay. Will require a little extra wire and a fuse off the battery, but will be much safer.
Do not just jam a 15 inch fuse in the box. that Is how...
Pro tip...you should know who you will take a vehicle to for bodywork before you need one.
NEVER use the dealer body shop. they are hacks fresh out of trade school getting their first job, and the dealer wants to move thing in and out as fast as possible.
Find a good private shop. Word of...
3.2 years old, 42,*** miles.
The auto start stop thing has been turning itself off lately due to low voltage condition. truck still starts fine as needed, but I am considering replacing the battery before I get stranded.
