I have been tunning stuff for a long time. Diesels, 600SCI's, Snowmobiles, side by sides etc. I didn't know what the cost of this tuner was until today, but I can say it's the most tech and performance I have ever seen for the cost.
Sport is very smooth if you get after it. And with all the adaptive learning crap it's getting better, occasionally it does something goofy but not much. It can take a long time for those to completely adapt.

I don't know much about those other than what they do. I think this is everything anyone would want up to the point of doing turbos and needing trans tuning. It's just delivered different and supposedly won't leave any trace for warranty since it's not a flash.

Yes been doing it on all my vehicles for 20 yrs never had a problem. But I wouldn't call it hammering away, if you have any issue with you don't need to do it.
No I pressure wash it usually but keep it 10 feet away or so. Sometimes I will use a really good de grease and let it marinate for a bit. I also wipe everything with a microfiber
