So how do the M and R kits compare to each other in area illuminated? I’ve been eyeing the fog light kits and dual bar setup. The new fog kit costs more, but I would assume the bars actually throw light further down the road. Any of you guys running both it would be great to hear first hand...
I have not received my gen 2 yet either, but I know on the gen 1 there was no protection for the fog pocket opening. From the pictures I have seen of the gen 2 though you can see the tires looking right through the opening from the front.
I use my Raptor almost exclusively on gravel roads, some with large uncrushed rock, so I am wondering how protected the lights will be from the backside where the tires will be throwing rocks against the rear of the lights/brackets/wiring. Is there any protection on the backside?

Looking for input and experience with some lighting options. Has anyone actually compared side by side a 40" M&R light bar to a Rigid? I've never seen either in person. The stock headlights on my '12 are disappointing at best and I was looking into a light bar to brighten things up. Obviously...
