I just ordered the 5 star with a Hennessy tune and the air intake from Hennessy. Can't wait to see the difference. Every other Hennessey product I have used it top notch.

There's an oil additive called power punch. It keeps the oil up on top and prevents dry starts. Most new fords do the knock. My truck does it too. The punch stops it.

I ended up with the same high level converter in my 2013 screw. And I used a fuse tap in the pass kick panel. It was difficult to find one that actually switched off with the ignition but its in there. The amp does switch off with the ignition but keeps the battery from being drained too. BTW...

These look awesome. Anyone using them? I have been wanting to mount a 40" behind the grill. Are these comparable to rigid or just a more economical option?

Depending on the truck you have there seems to be some variation in amp placement for the sub. I have a screw and all that comes through the floor are speaker wires no other wires at all...

Thanks for the fast reply. That sounds like a better option. I am already not liking the amp turning off before I open the door. Next time I am in the Bay Area I will stop in :)

I finished off the sub install today. It went mostly smooth until running the remote wire. I had a very difficult time finding a fuse in the pass kick panel that would actually power off when I turned the truck off. I ended up using the fuse that says its for rear heated seats, but I don't think...

awe man no love on the fuel door and it was the most $$$ hahaha

It just snaps into the clip. I will check it though.

I can send you the old ford logo off my 2013 I just added a little bling... BTW it does not just pop off with double side tape...

DVD is in and it works like it was from the factory. You can watch it on the front screen when in park and it plays over the speakers when you select the av input :D they match perfectly... I also took Noah's advice and returned the alpine amp and picked up a Rockford Fosgate T500 1BDCP to power...

On a 2013 with the Sony and would you use the RCA style as described in your write up or use the high level input. Also is there a way to tell if its high level or low level at the wire? Thanks in advance.
