Looks amazing!!! I will definitely remove those front plastics bellow the fog lights... it gives it a more aggressive look. But the convention of code orange and the dark bead-locks is my favorite so far.
That sounds right, but I would not be surprised if adding 37 package plus recaros end up costing more than 7500. All these new options to configure sound great unless we end up having to pay more for less.
I totally agree with you.
Today, with this limited production and dealers selling at 20k ADM or more, who is making more on each Raptor, Ford or the dealers?
Why would Ford limit the production the extreme as we are seeing today, only to make the dealers make more profit?
Purchasing online does not mean unlimited production. Go to Tesla and you will see that the high end (Model S) has an estimate delivery for 2022 already. Ford is not giving more allocation since they cannot produce more. If you think that Ford limits the production of the Raptor to make it...
I also don't care what year it is. I don't think that Ford will do any changes for 2022, so basically it will be same trucks. What can happen is a price increase, which could become a good thing for anyone that gets a 2021 at MSRP. Personally I will keep my Gen 3 until the Gen 4 is released.
I totally agree with you, and I think this will happen soon. New cars only sold direct to consumer, and dealers selling used cars and a service department (Carmax..)
I am not sure I agree with you that $5.5K is a slim margin when literally all they are doing is placing an orden, receiving the truck, and delivering the same day it gets there. Add to that probably a $799 dealer fee, plus bonus from Ford... plus most likely getting a trade that will generate an...
I am hoping that they are smart enough to realize that not changing the buying experience in the long run will hurt their business. The Raptor segment will continue to get more competitive, and they will loose loyal Ford fanatic like us. Personally, I am really considering giving the Cyber Truck...
I don't think I will get a post purchase survey since I didn't accept the ADM, but I will find my way to Elena Ford, that is Ford's Chief Customer Experience Officer and share my experience.
What gives you so much confidence about getting the lightning and 2022 Bronco at MSRP?
One thing I learned is that I will never place an order again, since there is no warranty that the dealer will honor that.
We are all part of the problem if all we do is vent in the forum. Ford needs to understand the the buying experience is terrible, not only now, but always!
Lets compare:
Tesla: You configure your vehicle online, pay with lease of financing options on the same site, then your car gets delivered...
As expected, they only wanted me in to release the reserve and put it on sale from $20K ADM. The GM told me directly to my face that they will put profit over customer loyalty, and that losing a customer for life didn't really matter. So if anyone from South Florida is reading this, Autonation...
Actually it is not. My dealer agreed to MSRP on June 10th when I placed the order. Called me last week with the good news that my truck is in transit, but there will be a 20k ADM. I told them there is no way I will pay over the agreed MSRP price and the sales rep said I will have to negotiate...
