Not sure if service manager even knew what he was talking about. It’s a wire bundle that appears to run to the tow package and I assume tail lights. I didn’t follow the bundle. It runs inside the frame, diver’s side and above exhaust. Could have come from the factory that way. I just noticed...
The zip ties that they are using for the recall are heavy duty and looks long enough to go around entire frame. The ones holding the wire bundle do seem light weight. May just be a random thing, but add to your inspection list.
Did my tire rotation the other day and dropped spare to check it out. While under truck I always look things over. Noticed loose heat tape on wire bundle above exhaust and broken zip tie that has a frame attachment. Before you beat me up, yes I can fix it with proper parts, which I didn’t have...
I would go with the more expensive one. You will also be recommended, full synthetic oil, premium fuel, PPF, ceramic tint, tune and tire shine by the 55 gallon drum! Fail to follow these instructions and it will end up in the scrap yard in a few years!
Pre gen 3.5 Raptor’s (2023-present) have superior traction & cornering capabilities with a torsion differential onboard! Hands stay warm too, with a heated steering wheel while drinking my Starbucks Nitro! But on the bright side, y’all paid more for a peasant truck!
So for my Starbucks runs, keep running Costco 87 octane! At today’s prices with 4% back on gas, let me run the math. Been getting 18 mpg average on first 12k miles. That was the first 6k on Costco 93 octane, no change. 10k miles per year divided by 18 mpg is 555.55 gallons of gas. 555.55...
In the dealer bulletin read to me by Ford Performance, if delivered after February 2nd, the dealership was supposed to handle it. My window sticker was reduced $1395 on 801A, but I signed no paperwork and my 801A was not reduced. I was just happy to be price protected at the time since Ford...
Took printed documentation to dealership and talked to second in command. If I owe it to you, I will send you a check. I told him to read dealer bulletin. Ordered 12-31-21, delivery in August 2022. Dealership owes me $1395, clear instructions for him to follow to get refund from Ford. Waiting…
Just replaced my driver’s side, I believe it was $1500 for another OEM. Saved the original, debating if worth selling. I didn’t even notice the scratch, body shop did on estimate.
Had mine done at the dealership the other day, along with TSB for B&O.
Now the cowl vent looks like this. I suppose I am just **** and need to try heating it up to mold correctly?
Should have read this thread earlier! Spent yesterday morning with Ford customer service, waste of time. Then went to the dealership and now waiting for response. Ordered 12-31-21, paid $6150 for 801A. When I got the truck in August 2022, the window sticker showed $4755 for 801A, the $1395...
