Just wanted to update this - anyone installing these that has a truck that is parked in the sun for long periods of time - the plastic will fade without some regular maintenance. I bought a new set of the hood vent covers to replace my faded ones (they're still pretty cheap on eBay) and clear...
Got the truck back about a week ago finally. I'm currently finishing up a couple other upgrades that I had sitting around, then sending the truck for detail and will get pictures afterwards. :)
Got the front and rear turn signals installed. They cost more than the ones on Amazon or eBay, but the quality is WAY better. Like I said in a previous post, the cheap ones I had on literally fell apart. The plastic coating peeled off the lenses, and the front lenses actually separated from the...
After digging into it it looks like the company sent me the wrong unit. The APIM wouldn't bolt to the back of the unit and the harness was all wrong. I believe they sent me one for a 15-17.
For anything wondering, I put the stuff up for sale in the Garage Sale section:

Thanks!
Up next is a set of OEM door and tailgate handles. They in good condition but the plastic is a bit faded. Door handle pad works perfect still. Replaced them with paint to match units. Looking for 200 dollars for the set of 5.
I've got some leftover parts from my recent build here. First is a front and rear Powerstop Z36 Truck and SUV brake kit. Comes with calipers, pads, rotors, and hardware. Only used lightly on the street for approximately 3,000 miles before I installed the Alcon front and rear brakes. Looking for...
Finally got the truck back from the body shop and got a chance to install all the parts I had sitting around. I had bought the front and rear kit used so I decided to refresh it. Brackets got polished and clear coated, calipers got painted with red G2 caliper paint, rotors got scuffed and coated...
2013. I just didn't figure the textured handles were probably worth anything because I've never seen anyone go from paint to match to textured. lol The fenders and flares I figured might be wanted though. Only issue with them is the passenger fender has some scratched paint. I just went...
Up for sale is a used pair of 2009-2014 F-150 Alpharex tail lights in red smoke color. In great condition, and come with LED reverse lamp bulbs. Looking for 200 dollars for the pair. Thanks!
I recently switched to paint to match door and tailgate handles as well as ADV front fenders and liners. Do non-Raptor guys ever want the textured black handles or stock fenders? Wasn't sure if they were worth anything.
I'm not sure what aftermarket support there is for the newer units, but the PX6 Android 9 units had a ton of it. Not sure if anyone is doing custom firmware for the Android 11 or 12 units yet.
Currently in the middle of installing mine. Going from an Android 9 PX6 12" unit to this. So far it's used the same GPS antenna, but this has WiFi antennas whereas the PX6 did not. The other thing is that this unit does not have the ability to bolt the APIM to it like the PX6 unit did, as the...
Just ordered these myself. About 4 years ago I had installed a "no name" set of them, and the lenses on the forward facing lights completely went to shit to the point they weren't saveable. The plastic coating simply just peeled off of them, plus they didn't really fit nice to begin with. At the...
Glad to hear! I'm wondering if they may eventually make a matching rear kit as well to go under 17" wheels. Getting ready to finally put my Alcons on in a month or so once winter is over. I also bought a 22 RCSB F-150, but am leaning towards TBM brakes for it since they are offered.
I don't think the one I have is available anymore. It was a PX6 unit from Phoenix Automotive that I got a few years back. No, I didn't have to do a single thing with it as far as wiring goes, it was all plug and play. I did update the firmware on it though with a better one.
That sucks to hear that your unit had those issues. The 12.1" screen I currently have all those features work you mention work perfectly, so I'm hoping they will work on my new unit as well, but I'm sure it'll take some messing with a few things.
Glad to hear that Keith (LVJ) is doing the harnesses for these! I have his 6 circuit overhead switch panel kit and third brake light harness and they are extremely well made. If I wasn't fortunate enough to get my setup from GJ I'd definitely be putting in an order for one of these. 100% worth...
