Thinking of going to a different wheel and tire setup for something a little more aggressive. Currently on 17x9 +12 Vision Ojos in bronze with 37x12.50 BFG T/A KO2. I like the setup and it's been pretty all around great, but I might be ready for a change. Thinking of going to the 37x13.50 Cooper...
After reading a bit more on BD's webside I'm thinking maybe a pair of Squadron Sport white wide cornering angled outwards on the A-pillar might be the last thing I'm missing. I don't really see myself needing any Zone 4 or above spot lighting since I don't go fast offroad.
Watching that video I'd say I've got a fair bit of it covered -
Zone 1 - amber wide cornerning Squadron Sport on the bumper + white Rigid 40" light bar behind the grille (this thing covers Zone 3 pretty well too since it has spots and floods)
Zone 3 - white combo/driving Squadron Sport on the...
Makes sense then. I can't run the lights there on the bed anyways with the Softtopper, but from what I'm seeing I shouldn't really need anymore lights than what will be on there - work/scene clear S2's in the bumper and middle of the GJ third brake light (rear/bed lighting), driving/combo amber...
Really happy with how it all turned out. Took my 14 year old out after I got it all done and had him test run it. He has a pretty nice custom build PC setup that we did, so he's not a stranger to quality hardware. He said the headphones were comfortable and had great audio quality for how...
You can see in these the harnesses have tons of room under the center console to tuck in, and everything ends up looking very clean. Just had to drill some holes in the center console to route the harnesses in behind the back panel.
Got it all finished up tonight. Accessory feed is run off the same feed as the remote turn on for the amp from Fuse 38 so that it functions the same way as the radio power. Battery feed is spliced off the rear 12v port as it's on all the time. Ground is spliced off the rear 12v port as well...
I may still make an aluminum plate that goes over it, but at the same time it's behind the back seat so it's not like it really matters, and it still looks pretty clean.
I'm planning on doing something similar. I was going to mount a second battery on the frame where the spare used to be along with air compressor and air tank and then mount the inverter behind the driver rear seat. Trying to keep my bed clear as I use it quite a bit to haul things. Nice setup!
Shore power is when you plug the truck into an outside power source, the same as when you go to a campground and plug the camper into a power feed. Basically it allows you to power things through 110v outlets pending you have it wired up properly. Definitely not required, but nice if you want to...
Picked up some 30 dollar bluetooth headphones at Wal-Mart today to keep in the seat pockets for the rear entertainment system. Having had the Invision system in the Flex with the IR headphones I quickly realized not to spend a bunch on them because they get lost, stepped on, chewed on by the...
