I'm thinking of going Deaver +2's and the RPG bump stop with Fox's as well, just hadn't decided on shocks. Kind of want 3.0's but supposedly they aren't great on the road and can potentially be noisy.
Is this worth the cost and work? Just curious what others think as I'm currently in process of overhauling my suspension on my Gen 1 as it's almost completely stock and ready for a refresh.
The dimensions could be different between the calipers sure, but I'm not sure that could be attributed completely to just the cast v.s. machined idea, because they can make the caliper as big or as small as they want to for an application really. I'm sure they are a great option as well for our...
Sad to hear about this setup falling through as well. It really sucks when a company makes an awesome product like GJ Motorsports and RPG did, but then just completely fall off the map. I'm still glad I was able to get my GJ Motorsports full setup with the harness, as I know others have not been...
Have we gotten anything new from other vendors on lighting in the last year or two? I've been really happy with my Morimoto headlights, tail lights, and mirror lights. Seems like Baja Designs is still the way to go for any off the off road lights.
Number of pistons doesn't necessarily matter, it's the surface area they cover. I would assume if it's an 8 piston caliper it's a large caliper. That being said, I'm more interested in the brakes that will still fit under a 17" wheel. As far as comparing two different trucks in stopping power -...
It's not a relocate of the factory switches. I still have the factory aux switches on the shift console, these are additional. There's a whole harness and setup that comes with the switch panel that works just like the factory aux switches do.
Well you son of a bitch. lol
Yeah, I tried to heat mine back flat and they just curled up again. I junked them and bought Husky Liners. I like the material on the Husky Liners more, they're more of a rubber feel than plastic with the Weathertechs.
With the Tesla style screen the phone ends up going in the center console during trips since I don't need it for nav or music anymore. Are they making those seat releases in tan now? Back when I bought them red was the only color I was interested in. I used to have an under seat storage setup...
I'm glad to hear that they work well and it was a good kit. I do like that they offering 2 piece rotors, as well as color options for everything as Alcon does not. They are also a fair bit cheaper than the Alcons as well. It would be interesting to see a head to head test on them vs the Alcons...
I figured they probably would as it only makes sense to. I understand the front does the majority of the braking, but why have some massive brake upgrade on the front and the stock brakes on the rear?
Is there anyone besides Alcon making a matching front and rear kit that fit under 17's?
I know Wilwood offers the fronts, but their rears I think take an 18" wheel, and they have a bigger front kit that fits under a 20" wheel. Brembo makes a front kit, but I believe it too takes a 20" wheel...
