Disconnected my remote tailgate switch mod. More than once, I've left the switch forward and found the tailgate down when I didn't want it. I'll reconnect it if I can figure out a good place to put in a push button switch rather then the toggles in the upfitter. It was a good mod; but it seems...
9000 miles / 6 months in with the Recaros; No complaints. Just happy. Comfortable in 10 minute drives and 10 hour drives and they still look great.
Had a very picky Ram owner in the truck last week - he said if he could have got my interior on a regular F-150 he wouldn't have got a Ram.
I...
Consider the source - Motor Trend... the magazine that gives out something like 100 awards to whoever buys the most ads.
I’m guessing Ford hadn’t advertised in the magazine that month.
Monday I installed the Cobb Stage 1 Kit.
Yesterday I tried it out.
Sport Mode, AWD, Traction Control off. No standing on brakes. Just stab the throttle.
Sub 5 Seconds is pretty damn impressive for something that weights 5700 lbs.
The dealership I had to get my '19 from (only authorized Ford Performance Dealer in the area) was horrible for service on my '11. Wait a week for the appointment; drop it off at a specific time in the morning, and then get around to it later in the day, usually only to call and offer me a free...
It's going to be more work and cost to sue them over a fraudulent oil change and tire rotation than it's worth, I'd think - probably best to just give 'em a bad Yelp review and find another stealership.
I've got enough "Raptor" branding on the truck - YMMV - so I got Weathertech. Fronts only.
Took 5 minutes to install both sides. No drilling - original factory screws used.
My buddy who said "Oh no, you're not going to ruin the look of that truck with mudflaps?" says he can barely notice them.
I...
Had an Extang Trifold on my Gen1. It worked adequately - wasn't very waterproof, was easy to remove and kept stuff secure inside. Since it sat on top, it caused the bed caps to chafe the paint on the rear quarters and Ford wouldn't cover it; blaming the aftermarket tonneau. So with the Gen 2 - I...
Hey guys - what's involved in removing the front fender liners?
I see the screws for the flare and a few pop out plugs - can I get it out without taking off the flare?
From what I can see; there's some spare room up under there that should be able to fit my air horns and I'd like to mount them...
That rug is pretty sweet, but it probably wouldn’t have worked out too well for me when I had a bucket of topsoil dropped in the bed last weekend. Maybe with a big tarp... I am actually really loving the dee zee mat on the factory liner now. It made all the difference.
After starting this thread

I heard all the good things about a Dee Zee and ordered one.
Mine arrived Monday from Amazon.
Had to take the rubber feet off the bed extenders to let them lock...
Had linex on my gen 1. Got the factory on my gen 2. If I ordered another truck, I’d go with linex. It was thicker and rougher for less sliding. Depends on how much you use your truck as a truck too.
I've had my Gen 2 since February. I ordered it "loaded". Give me all the options!
I love it. Really happy.
I have absolutely no regrets about anything EXCEPT the spray in liner from Ford.
It's too smooth.
I had Linex in my Gen 1. Stuff didn't slide around like it does in the Ford version...
My 2011 was Roush Supercharged and I gotta say the '19 is comparably peppy with the lighter weight, 10 speed and twin turbo V6.
I expect the '19s gonna definitely be faster when I get a tune in it.
