Didn't take any pictures but pulled the OEM sub enclosure and wrapped it with some sound deadening material. Not sure if it's just in my head but it seems like the bass is a little deeper.
Did you reuse the factory clamps? I am thinking of using some t-bolt clamps I believe I can use ones that are 2 5/16" - 3 1/4". I might have some left over from a Procharger I installed on one of my mustangs if not I'll probably buy some.
Yes exactly maybe could have worded my post differently. I bought the truck a few months ago with 13.5k miles on it and I decided at 15k miles I would do the maintenance I did so now that mileage is my starting point hope that makes sense.
I almost swapped out the intercooler this weekend but after changing the oil and doing some other stuff it was to hot outside for me. I am going to keep the oem inter cooler piping.
Seeing that I just got the truck a few months ago I wanted to do my first oil change when i hit 15k miles. So today I did some maintenance I changed the cabin air filter, engine air filter, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, and wiper blades. I am glad I had read some threads about how the oil...
Yes it is still available and I am running it on my android phone, my buddy bought this adapter for me about 4-5yrs ago and it works great. I have used this adapter on a VW, Audi, and now my Raptor I do have a different one I use a different dongle/adapter for Forscan, and this adapter is for...
Well I can only measure and log a certain amount of parameters using the Torque app. I set it up last night to log IAT2 & charge air temp. So I just went outside and did a short log with the truck ideling and it seems it can't measure charge air temp it was worth a shot.
I stand corrected I don't know why I had IATs in my head when I typed that. I am gonna play around with the Torque Pro app and see what it monitors. I will edit my original post.
I figured if I keep track of the charge air temp and outside temp and see what the differences are that should let me know how many degrees it drops the temp correct?
I am sure I will catch some heat for this but for the price I thought why not. I read a post on a Raptor Facebook page where a member posted an Ebay inter cooler he purchased. I looked up the inter cooler and compared it online looking at pictures of other inter coolers and this one seems to be...
So yesterday I tried two different cables and it was the cable I was originally trying to use and with a different cable it is working. So the cable I tried to use first would charge my phone but would not allow Androind Auto to work but with a different cable it is working now thanks for all...
Yeah and made sure it was updated now will the Android Auto icon show up under settings even if a phone is not connected? Mine doesn't show the icon either way. I mean probably wouldn't use it very much but would like the option if I wanted.
That's the option I do not have in settiings there is no Android Auto Preferences icon. Also I don't have the factory provided cable. When I use a cable I have my phone does show it is charging. My phone does pair via bluetooth to the radio also.
I searched and can't find my answer so I'm gonna ask here. I have a 2019 and even before I updated to Sync 3.4 there is no option in the radio to use Android Auto am I missing a step? I plug my phone in and scrolling through the options not seeing Android Auto I have tried it with the bluetooth...
Wife has a 19 Alfa Romeo its gets to the gorcery store pretty quick, I try to daily my 11 Audi A4 its got a few mods, 01 Procharged Bullitt, and my garage queen 03 10th Anniversary Edition Cobra mostly stock lol. Traded in the Ram 2500 in the background for the Raptor.
I use the same stuff and it works great, I pulled off part of the bedside sticker and there was next to no adhesive left on the bed which made life easier. I bought a Audi that had PPF on it that needed removed years ago and that stuff took the old adhesive off took some work though.
Pulled part of the bed side sticker off, hard wired my radar detector, and installed a auto start/stop eliminator. Probably going to pull the rest of the sticker off and getting the windows tinted in a few days. Also got all the stuff to do an oil change soon.
New to me as of a few days ago 2019 802A 13k miles only thing I miss about my old truck already is the low end my 2017 Cummins had but the Raptor is a much nicer driving truck so I'll take it.
Just joined up the other day after getting my first Raptor a few days ago. I had been looking at Raptors for a few years but just didn't want to give up my old truck seeing that it was trouble free the 6yrs I owned it. I finally found a truck I wanted to jump on and with it being such low miles...
