2019 SCAB 800A audio upgrade.

I did not order a amp and sub woofer and now I would like to upgrade the system.

I was hoping for something like.
wiring #
DSP #
Amp #
Front Speaker #
Rear Speaker #
Kicker #
Speaker Box #

There are several threads speakers
but it still would be nice to have everything together.
Should I use the center speaker for the HAM radio?

I think you should set a budget 1st. That way you can figure out what works best for what you are willing to pay.

no offense.....but based on what you wrote in this post....you are very new and have little to no car audio experience. I think we would all be happy to work with you, but you need a little foundation first.

You may want to visit a local shop and see what they have to tell you, then we can help guide based on what they are selling.

How can I be offended by the truth. I know how to turn the radio on. I have read quite a few posts on system upgrade, but don't fully understand.

The last time I upgraded a system was to add a Crager 45 rpm record player in the glove box of my 54 Merc Sun Valley in high school.

As others said come up with a budget and what you are wanting out of your stereo. I’ve seen on here $500 upgrades with just replacing speakers to builds that are over $10,000. I can give you my full run down in a month with review however what I am doing is prolly not for everyone.

Lurking on this thread, but I am curious what one can expect from a $500 speaker upgrade? Not into blowing my ears our anymore but the 2019 SCREW needs some better tone. Speakers, based on my past (not all the way to 45's but early cassette days) seem to be a good choice over OEM, but it has been a while.

Budget: 2-3K
Reason: to impress others
I am 71 years old and have lost most of the highs in my hearing and one ears is much worst than other. This is why I am reluctant listen to speakers at an audio shop.
Difficulty: Easy to Medium
I prefer to do my own work and have better than average skills.
I have restored several cars including upgrading the wiring and upholstery.
I have table saw, drill press, welders, sewing machine....
Willing to buy tools as necessary.

I am thinking of putting together a JL Audio system.

Flatten the audio signal using FORScan and add Kicker
$50 = FOR-11CK harness
$420 = JL Audio Fix86 DSP 6 channel
$559 = JL Audio RD 900/5 (75x4 4 ohms + 500x1 2ohms)
$270 = JL Audio C2650 Front door and pillar components
$199 = JL Audio C2-650X rear door
$398 = 2 x JL Audio 10w1 v3 4ohm 10 inch sub
$300 = additional supplies

Total ~ $2200

Its my understanding the Nav TV A2B will not work with the base system.
I would need help balancing the system.
