What I learned is a big expense of a 5.0 or a 7.3 liter swap is even though the transmission will work with it, the housing locates and mounts the transmission in a new different location than the ecoboost. This requires a new transmission in the swap and a lot of added expense.
Yes, I will be doing a C notch to gain about 3 to 4 inches of above travel which I think is a big deal. As it sits right now, the front end way out performs the rear.

Sorry I realized this is a gen 1 forum and my truck is a gen 2. But the kit is the same either way. Yes 10" stroke shock, that is a big deal. Rear end is a deaver spring over with a 18" 3.5 king. I will be going spring under soon to get more uptravel at ride height.
