I've been trying to find out if there is a fix like the seal @ograptor mentioned or if this is going to be a rebuild

Mine is doing this shit too. Exact same noise and shift points. It overrevs from 3-4 and has weird downshifting 4-3. Started with The squawk/groan thing every so often and no it does it all the time. Had filter change and fresh fluid and still does it, no leaks.
