Gen3 have Soundscreen windows. I don’t know about the Gen 2 but Gen1 didn’t. After going through four on my mustang I have concluded the are brittle and crack easily. I have noticed a couple small chips on mine already in the first 12k.

That is what I did. I was careful and any where that was pulling back I hit with the heat gun real quick.

Take it off. I had a similar experience with that same wrap that was put on my truck. Installer did a ****** job and the wrap looked bad. I took it home and took it off. 30 minutes and then a quick rebuff and all is good. A heat gun or some hot sunlight is your friend and makes it even easier.

I drove 500 miles this weekend after only the shock was replaced on Friday. Squeak is gone. I asked the Service Manager to use the ears before replacing it and the shock was much noisier than the rest of the suspension. It was the only change, outside if the reassembly and torquing of everything.

Add another one to the list. Had right front replaced yesterday at 8300 mi. We will see how long it stays quite.

I mounted the faceplate in the media bin and the radio on a ram mount under the passenger seat for my Kenwood HAM. Not as many good mounting options on the Gen 3 for those of us that want everything out of sight when not in use.

My wife drives mine and likes it. We ordered her a Ranger Raptor so it was easier to park. It will also get used on the tight trails when needed. It was quite a few years ago but there were a few women driving raptors at Snoball when I went.

I have been running BD RPTR since the Gen1. The wife will have BD RNGR on her Ranger Raptor if Ford ever gets around to building it.
