I just turned 66 and my son convinced me that I've worked hard all my life and have earned the right to drive the truck I've been wanting for at least 10 years. I've had an F150 XL and an FX4. I think he's wanting a good truck once I'm dead and gone, LOL. I looked for months for the right one, read a lot of these posts on FRF, and chose one from Dallas TX. on January 14, 2021, which was a beautiful sunny day. A short plane ride from New Orleans and a nice ride back home completed the day. I'm not a jumper, rock climber, or any other type of thrill seeker. I just want the best truck out there. I'm not retired yet and don't plan on it any time soon. I've been driving a Peterbilt 379 since 1998 in the southeast region where there's no snow. I am now driving only La. and Ms. and am home every night. I plan on keeping my Raptor clean and out of the weather. I don't get upset by name calling. If that makes the other person feel superior, I'm glad I could help improve their day.
