I have been a car nut since I was 14. I am retired but work with a partner everyday to do very fine and exclusive art production. I also work with my partner restoring classic cars. We have completed a rotisserie TR4 that is a darling car and won 1st place at the 2021 Houston Autorama. We are currently working a 1960 XK150 Jag Drophead to be completed by and of year.
This is a "Hennessy" Velociraptor Twin Turbo 800. It is serial #1 and I want to sell it. It was owned by my business neighbor and rarely driven. 25K miles on it. He passed away 3 years ago and I had promised to help his wife in the disposition of it. His son had caused a problem with it so I had everything rebuilt. I have all receipts for the rebuild, new dished (for 15lbs of boost) pistons, new forged crank, balancing, turbos, 1 new head, 1 new rocker assembly. Everything magnafluxed and checked for straightness. It was tuned 3 weeks ago by PAX Power (look them up). It was then put on the dyno and made 517 at the wheels and 647 at the engine. This was done at 6.5lbs of boost. The engine was built for over 800 hp and 15lbs of boost. I am sure if someone want that much poere it is available. This Raptor is immaculate and has never spent a day or night outside. I have videos of the run on the dyno. This is the blue one on youtube with the twin intercoolers on the front.
Pending Modifications
We intend to put it on Bring A Trailer in the next few weeks unless we generate interest elsewhere. We will have a reserve around 70K but will sell today at 65.
