I've loved the Raptor from the moment I saw that molten orange truck go barreling by at 100mph. Finally got my own in 2014, ordered the special edition ruby red SCREW. I drive that thing everywhere. It became a mod toy early on, I whippled it, changed the bumpers and the fenders out and put 37s on it. It was such a hot to drive and go exploring in. Was just shy of 247K miles on it.
Then I broke my back and covid hit. Just couldn't drive her anymore and the family needed the funds, so I had to sell her. One of the saddest moments of my life.
Fast forward a few years, I'm on the mend and physically capable again, so I start looking for another. I found an almost identical stock truck to my original, just ten miles up the street. This truck was high mileage with almost nothing done to maintain it but it was a steal.
So now I'm back in the driver's seat, and I'm loving wrenching on a raptor again. I had used this site as a resource for many years. Figured it's time I actually signed up!
