A mirror tap is much easier than wiring your radar detector into your aux switches and wasting a switch. Unless you want the ability to quickly flip off the detector.
My exhaust makes a really annoying ticking and rattling sound when in every mode but baja and it was like that the day I picked it up from the dealer. The dealer is going to replace it but the parts are on backorder and I have no idea when it will be fixed.
@Stormtrooper I'm glad Ford took care of you but that sounds like some serious brain damage. How disappointing, I'm sorry that happened to you.

Nothing huge but when you start it and it's in normal mode the exhaust valve located on the drivers side of the truck has a pretty ugly ticking sound but it goes away when you switch the exhaust to sport or baja.
I like the idea and see why you did it but it looks unfinished to me. I went with the clean look and did the stealth wrap that someone on this forum recommended and I think it looks amazing.
OK I took your advice and held my finger on the or lock button for 1 second and its works every time. There is a catch though, you have to give the truck a second after you close the door or it doesn't work at all. If you close the door and immediately put your finger on the button it doesn't...
