Probably the same reason they came from the factory at bottom perch instead of mid perch, cushier ride and most people aren't pushing it hard offroad frequently (I'm just as guilty there heh).
Hmm knucklehead here also haha! So it would make sense if the back side of the shock piston is also shock fluid, so fluid passes through from one side to the other as the shock goes through it's travel. But then the only time the IFP moves is if fluid is lost? And the nitrogen charge is there...
But...when the fluid flows into the reservoir that the floating piston lives (as the shock compresses the piston displaces fluid somewhere), wouldn't the volume of the nitrogen get smaller, increasing pressure? Maybe I'm envisioning it wrong, from what I remember from high school physics...
FMI has a bump stop/limit strap combo, not a separate one for Gen1 but don't see why it wouldn't work on Gen1...

I thought it was Memphis, or at least I saw one there last time I went through but couldn't stop in. Looks amazing though, not the least of which is multiple restaurants they have...
I would definitely stick to Motorcraft for the balljoints (my Moogs didn't last long), for the tie rods so far the Moogs have been just as good as Motorcraft...
