I have the same issue. I can recreate the issue on command. I believe the issue on mine is when you’re accelerating and the truck thinks you’re going to need an upshift but you suddenly slow down and the truck then tries to downshift. I get that clunk noise everyday. Same on my 17 & 18...

Just put on 17x9 0 offset & 37x12.5 Nitto ridge grapplers. Rubbing when turning into a parking lot. Might have f’d up…. I wonder if my fenders will rip off under full compression lol

No rubbing at full lock and full compression. Every .50 inches is 12.7MM i believe 8.5inch rim would be pushed in 6mm more.

If you like more of a stock look I’d stick with 8.5 I like it a little aggressive and 9’s would be my choice, just sold my set 20mins ago.
