Or if you're really cheap....

One thing I discovered recently, there's actually 2 separate sets of specs on these lzr cubes. The first round of them was 2000 lumens per cube, but their latest rev is 2600 lumens per cube. not sure if they actually changed anything or just updated the specs, but just be aware if you do buy them of which batch you get.

IMO the brackets on these KC's are better designed than the other fog brackets out there because they have a plate that protects them from debris from the wheels behind them.

It seems that the lumen difference is just an update of the specs considering the wattis the same. I don't see how they got more lumens without increasing watts?

Could be if they got more efficient LEDs, but yeah I agree, more than likely they just changed the specs. It is more than a little suspicious that the "new" specs are EXACTLY the same as the D2 kit... no comparison shopping going on there...

Would be nice if there were objective 3rd party ratings on this kind of thing. I'll take one for the team, vendors send me your light kits and I will post objective reviews

Dude check out Rigid Duallys or D2's...much sleeker design and cheaper! Mine have been on for 3 years with ZERO problems and you cant beat a lifetime warranty! and MADE IN THE USA!

Rigid Industries LED Lighting

Definitely a lot cheaper. Thanks. Did you go with the "white light" color? Did you have to modify your mounting brackets to keep from rubbing the bumper?

I went with White Spot for driving mounted on the outside and amber spot on the inside. They come with the bracket and all mounting instructions and I did not modify anything.

You can check out their website and there are other vendors on here that sell the product as well. Let them compete and maybe you will win.

Actually D2's are now rated at 34.5 Watts and 3030 Lumens each.
