I'm gearing up for the hunting season here in Colorado, and trying to get everything put together before I go. I usually always have a set of chains with me for the truck, but according to the owners manual, tire chains are a no-no unless you downsize the tires. I don't really feel like dropping the cash for a set of rubbers that I'm only going to use on this truck two times a year.
The question is, if I run chains on this beast, am I definitely going to screw something up, or if I run carefully will I be ok? Has anybody else ran chains with the stock rubber on? What's the worst case scenario for breakage?
