Grill shutters? WTF? Last vehicle I had with actual grill shutters was 1979 Kenworth!!!

Supposedly the 2017 trucks including the Raptor has grill shutters. I have not seen one in person to verify.
Wouldn't you lose lateral light output with it behind the grill?

You'd be surprised the amount of light that a good bar will throw through the grill, but yeah, it's mostly for looks.....

I'm pretty sure it has the active grill shutters so you won't be able to mount a light there unless there's a way to remove them. I'm pretty sure people remove them when they upgrade their intercoolers so it may be possible.
