So I will be in the market for tires soon, and I i have been thinking of either getting the same BFG's, which i have no complaints for, I'll just be going to 37s or the Toyos, which i know are awesome.

But I came across these in my search today.

Cooper Discoverer STT TEK3 Tires - MT Tire Reviews

Who has them, what do you think? Post pics if you have them.

They sounds like they'd be a great tire, especially for the price.

I was thinking of getting these put on yesterday but went with the Nittos. The guy at the tire shop tried to sell them on me, as they are on his truck and he loves them (specially the price) But in my quick research I saw a lot of people saying the tires chunked easy when pushing them, I also was not a big fan on the tread pattern.

My 02. is Nitto or Toyo

Well the BFGs chunk also, but they are a great tire. My first set went to TRR twice with no chucking. A new set of BFGs went to Havoc and the rear chucked. Depends on how your drive.
If you drive the OEM tire without chunking issues your probably going to be ok.

what's the going price on these and the nittos?

I just ordered Nittos from my local tire shop for $315 a piece. They have a price match guarantee on all tires they sell. They'll match any online price, taking shipping into consideration.

Coopers are on discount tire direct for $294 a piece

Pretty sure Dawson from raptor retrofit has these. A few f350 guys I know run them and love em. I will be considering these when I am ready. What size u going with in these?

Also the toyos are pretty heavy these are about the same weight as the bfgs...

Ran them on my 08 Grand Cherokee (not sure if they were TEK3 or not) and I was really happy with them. Got loud as they wore though.

I have them, great in mud and not bad in trails at HAVOC but I didn't like them in the snow.
Now that I've had them for a year they slip and slide a bit when it gets wet outside.
I will not buy them again but that's my opinion.

I just replaced my Cooper STTs for 37 toyos. My cooper stt's were TRASHED after 15k miles BUT i did off-road like crazy in them. Just ask Jason from TMX how trashed they were haha. Toyos will definitely last longer than stt's and thats why they are more expensive also a much harder compound. If you are on a budget though the STTs will still look and perform just fine for what you need.
