Great tire. Probably my favorite. But I just didn't want to spin that extra weight. And Stoner is my idol... so if he gets Toyos I will change.

Yeah, they are HEAVY! They can take all the abuse you can dish out, but it does take a lot more to get them rolling. No chunking out at TRR though.

Oooo....exactly what I wanted to see! I've been thinking about replacing my 35/12.50/17 Toyo MTs with a set of 37/12.50/17 BFG ATs....mainly for increased wear. As much as I've liked the Toyos, I've only gotten about 28 000 miles out of them even with religiously maintaining proper tire pressure and rotation.
Anyways, I was concerned with rubbing as I'm running mid-perch with 17 X 8.5" ProComp wheels with a 0 offset (4.75" backspace) which I believe are the same wheel specs as the Methods(?) you are using....if not Methods, they do seem to have some negative offset similar to my ProComps! Are you have any rubbing issues with day to day use and mild 'wheeling?

Damn does that look sick. You get any kind of rub on the front when jumping or hitting a bump when wheels turned to the side. Want those projects but just too much money when they suck for the street.

Do the baja t/a projects really suck for the street, i'm amazed to hear that considering a good portion of the baja 1000 is on pavement, they don't look like they would be that bad on the street either

Don't know for sure. Just heard that they suck on street but bad ass in dirt. Don't know from personal preference. Wonder how many miles you can get on them. That will tell me my answer on them if I get them or not.

I have pro comp 7032 wheels. -6 offset. My Icons are set somewhere between mid and top perch. I have hammered the pinch welds flat and a little trimming - see pic. No rubbing. But no offroading yet. Maybe Stoner can provide some further insights on that. I love the look. Ford should have made these the stock tire.

No rubbing issues over 3 days while extreme testing the new setup jumping around TRR this year
Boatec glass fenders fit the 37's perfectly
The TOYO 37's (with RPG tuned Fox 3.0's) rolled right over the worst of the front half's harsh rocky terrain. I was speeding up while most were slowing down lol
Really happy with the upgrades
